R.L. Dabney was amazing. What a great read.,

It is always insightful to read a history of times gone by. Dabney was not a prophet but he sure had an amazing grasp of the long term result of our actions. When you read his Discussions series you will see the paths that were chosen to get us to where we are today. He focuses on the cultural depreciation and ills that will happen if we continue down the Federalist road and it is amazing how he nailed it. We are where he predicted we would be. The good news is that we can understand what brought us to this troubled culture and country so we know the path to repair the damage.
