4.0 out of 5 stars Content true to title from experts in the field, March 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Disease Management: A Systems Approach to Improving Patient Outcomes (J-B AHA Press) (Hardcover)
I failed to check the date of publication before I ordered it however find that this information was still very timely and provides an historical as well as interdisciplinary approach to problems we continue to have in disease management. Although the nursing profession was missing in most of the content there was a strong chapter on case management by nurses that described the skill set and qualities that are identified with quality case management.
This book provides support for those attempting to make change in their health care delivery around long term conditions.

***** Unable to select stars. This was one of my favorite new books of 2010. Easy to read, type nice and dark, no headaches here. You can virtually open up to any page and start reading. Book is easy to manage. Stay away from large paperbacks if possible-they slip and side and do not hold up for mailing very well. Still, they are lighter in the book bag. bravo!
