This book is one of the best I have read on the diseases of reptiles. It is far more informative on the basics, yet goes into depth without losing the reader. Very well done. I would advise this book for any herper- the beginner, or the expert.

This is a good "First husbandry" reference for anyone. The individule chapters address general anatomy and common problems associated with the "critter" in question. I would have liked to had more specific information on tree frogs and reptiles other then snakes. The information presented on frogs was in general helpful.
