5.0 out of 5 stars Understandable Overview, March 29, 2011

This review is from: Diseases and Disorders - Cystic Fibrosis (Hardcover)
Melissa Abramovitz's book is a good source of information for a young adult or a science-challenged older adult like this Potato Head. The reader will get a description of cystic fibrosis and an explanation of its symptoms and causes. Other topics are treatments for the various symptoms of the disease and current research for a cure and medicines to alleviate symptoms. A positive note repeated throughout the book is that though cystic fibrosis used to be a death sentence, those with the disease are living longer and longer each year.

After this book aroused my interest and thirst for more information, I traveled to youtube and found many short videos on the topic of various quality.
