Holy abuse of the exclamation point,
This review is from: The Disgraced Marchioness (Harlequin Historical) (Mass Market Paperback)
One night of passion, an interfering mama, and a brother accepting responsibility all make for a good read. While this book is an enjoyable read the authors over use of the mighty exclamation point is terrible and gets in the way of reading the book. I find myself muttering "not again", "every 4 or 5 sentences there's another exclamation point", "holy heck, someone break the ! key on her keyboard". I give the story itself a 4 but deducted a star for the blatant ! abuse. |
