all around a good buy. Looks better in person. durable. Perfect for raphael's ninja costume

This is a safe, practical item that can be used as a toy or part of a costume. They are made of lightweight plastic. No sharp edges either. My son loves them!

Being that these are made out of a slightly malleable plastic, one of mine has a slight curve in it, but it still looks nice when carried around as part of a costume. For the price, it's worth it.

The sais are better in person than they appear in the photo. They are rubber-y, which means they have much less chance of accidentally hurting someone. The paint on the handle is actually red, perfect for my Raphael costume, and they are a great size for both kids and adults. I couldn't be happier!

These seem very safe and durable. However, I think $10 is a bit much. I can easily see these at the dollar store considering how lightweight they are. The handles on ours are red and the rest is a dull gray. I was hoping for a more silvery look. Despite this, my son LOVES them and that's what is important. Plus, he can stick them in the neck of any t-shirt in the back and they stay in place as he plays ninja.

this is a great accessory for the Raphael costume. Accidentally bought these for Leonardo costume but my friend who bought Raphael's costume bought the nanchuks so we just switched.
