My daughter is an average size 3 yo and this is too small. Buy large.

Wings are horrible
This was the Tinkerbell costume sold in big retail stores in 2009, I know because I worked there and bought one for my daughter! the wings are flimsy and don't look like they do in the picture. Like everyone says, it runs small. I bought the biggest size, and my size 3 girl was almost too big for it. That was last halloween, since then I cut the bottom out of it and...

It is a very pretty outfit. The only thing I did not like is that the skirt is not nearly as full as the picture. Ijust put another skirt under it to give it fullness.

That was last halloween, since then I cut the bottom out of it and she plays with it as a dress-up dress.

As another reviewer commented, the skirt is not very full. The leotard itself is very thin and the gold trim around the chest and over the shoulder is scratchy. My daughter was not happy wearing it. Looking for an alternative.
