5.0 out of 5 stars One of their better albums
This is the latest album from Aiden and in my opinion one of their best. Knives released two years ago was very poor and was to similar to William Francis' side project William Control. This album I will say I've listened to this album so many times in the car and I've got to say the last song "Radio" is one of the best songs on the album.

Unlike "Nightmare...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, if you want a heavier Conviction, Bad if you were expecting A Heavier knives.
To start off with this review, i have never been to impressed with Aiden, until their 2009 release of knives. That album blew my mind. I Loved every song from it, and it still remains as one of the greatest albums i ever got to own!

To start off with this review, i have never been to impressed with Aiden, until their 2009 release of knives. That album blew my mind. I Loved every song from it, and it still remains as one of the greatest albums i ever got to own!

Anyways:
This album is not bad, but it's also not good. The opening track is pretty catchy, even though it's only a minute long.
Then it jumps into the next song "Horror queen", which is a great track. the song is very catchy, and you'll be singing it by the second time hearing it.
The next few songs aren't that great, and they remind me of a heavier conviction (Just my opinion), which they aren't bad, just nothing really great at all.

After a few songs "Walk among the dead" will start, that's one of the greatest songs that aiden has made (In my opinion). It's a really good song. it starts off pretty wicked also, and it's just a great song in general.
It's one of those 'never gets old' type of songs. Also the lyrics really reach out to me (and others i'm sure). It's about religion, which is an arguable topic. point is it's a great song.

I Also forgot to mention the song "Hysteria". That's another one of those "Conviction" Songs, but they make this one sound amazing! It's just so catchy, and once again the lyrics are great. It's another one of those songs you'll be singing the second time around. I can't get enough of this song.

Point is,
This album has a good 4 songs that are just 'blow your mind' great,
But all the others in this album are those songs you'll be like "What is this?" I Mean seriously, it sounds like a heavier "Conviction".
If you were expecting an album like knives, then this album won't live up to those expectations.

If you're questioning whether or not to buy it, go on youtube, and listen to some of the songs, then decide like that.
Overall, the album isn't terrible, it's just not to great. It may be great to some people, and others might hate it. it all depends on your style, and what you were looking forward too.

Unlike "Nightmare Anatomy" or "Our Gang's Dark Oath" where the last track has about two to five minutes of silence before the track finishes that does not show up on this album and thankfully as well.
