Hello,

A few months ago I purchased a large antimicrobial drainboard for my kitchen. My husband and I had been looking for quite some time, but they all seemed to be going "sideways". We finally purchased one from Amazon.com, but it was sideways, too. It was very difficult to tell from the picture because it was white on white. A few weeks ago, Amazon.com delivered the "correct" dish drainboard right to my e-mail box!!! Of course, I ordered it immediately and my husband I am now enjoying the way my kitchen looks. The dish drainer has a good shape and lip design. It was advertised as heavy duty, soft, plastic. However, it's not particularly soft, not particularly sturdy, and the water gathers in the middle....

I was looking for a drain board that drained on the shorter side of the board. Of course they don't make these anymore, only the ones that drain on the long side. Happened to find this one on Amazon and on a few other sites and bought it off here because it was cheaper. When it came, I wished I hadn't bought it. The quality is no good. Didn't these things used to be made of sturdy plastic? This one is flimsy and cheap. I can't even lift the drain board with the dish rack on it like I did my old one because when I did the drain board would curl and the dish rack would start rocking. I settled for it anyway because I needed one, but I'm still looking for something better.

I ordered this heavy duty drainboard only to find that the item is nowhere near the quality of the rubbermaid version of a heavy duty drainboard. Additionally, the drainboard is not adequately elevated to allow for proper drainage. I wanted a drainboard which would drain on the short side, this is the only one I found. Too bad I had to pay almost as much as the cost of the item to have it shipped to me. I should have kept looking.

Although it has proven useless to replace the trusty but beyond grungy Rubbermaid, I'll take other reviewers at their word and give it the current average of 3. Useless because my sink has a 1 1/2" wide flange that elevates the open end of the drainer thereby causing the water to pool in the middle. When I lifted the closed end to drain it, the water overflowed the ends beside the narrowed throat. Not to have a total loss, my workroom sink has a recessed bowl so maybe it will drain ok there. The moral of the tale is to check your sink surround before ordering. Curse Rubbermaid for discontinuing a perfectly good product! Just don't even get me started on their laundry baskets.

While this drain board is described as heavy duty, it is definitely NOT. It is quite flimsy and even the manufacturers packaging overlay does not say anything about it being heavy duty. It is hard to find this size/layout for a drain board, but do not expect to find one anywhere close to the quality of the rubbermaid one that has been discontinued. I contacted the Stacks company and they did not return my call as promised.

This is listed as 20" long, but my 19.75" long Ikea drying rack did not fit in it so I re-measured and it is only 18.5" long unless you count the lip part that allows water to drain into the sink... then it is closer to 19.5". Either way, not correct so I am returning.

Finally after many months of searching, I found this drainboard that drains on the short side. I just recieved it a few days ago. I would not consider it heavy duty. It is much lighter than I expected. None the less, it works!!! It is wider which fits the dish drainer much better than the rubbermaid one. I actually can put glasses on the sides and not have them drip on the counter. I plan to order several more as back up. Thank you!!!!

This drainboard is just perfect,I've searched all the local stores and websites and no one could offer the one that we wanted other than you.The delivery was prompt. I definitly would purchase from you again.

Have been looking for a drain board for some time but they all drained out the side. Went on line and found this on and it works great. I would have liked to have it in rubbermaid but they are in the side drain mode. The plastic on this is thin but for the price it works fine.
