Brilliant score, June 16, 2002
This review is from: The Dish (Audio CD)
Through composer Edmund Choi's music, this loveable story about the Apollo 11 moon mission truly comes to life. In dealing with the history making subject matter, Choi has created an incredible atmosphere of reverance that is simply one of the most touching film scores in history. With his deft use of wonderful melodies and a heaven-like children's choir, we are swept willingly into a story of great humour and humility. This is simply put, one of the finest musical scores ever written for film.

OUTSTANDING SOUNDTRACK, May 21, 2001
This review is from: The Dish (Audio CD)
The movie was average, but the soundtrack is brilliant! Set in the late 60's, the music is made up of both international and Australian artists. Songs include: You've made me so very happy -Blood Sweat & Tears; Something in the Air - Thunderclap Newman; Fly Me High - Moody Blues; The Real thing - Russell Morris; Good Morning Starshine - Oliver and many more classics. It sets the mood if you are after some easy listening material from that era. Enjoy!
