Programming was a pain but it works. I wish all the tabs were included (see that green tab? google the remote - they refer to whether it is a IR or UHF or IR/UHF remote - I would have been better off with a IR/UHF this is an IR, green tab #1).

Under "system info" (menu button) you can find your remote "code", which is what you program the Sat button with. There is a way to reset it if you have absolutely no remote by resetting the DVR and turning it back on. This was hard for me to figure out (fyi, ours was "9"). Once you know what your code is, hold the SAT button down until all the buttons blink, enter the code, and press pound. Easy peezy.

I got a used one that didn't work, but the seller turned right around and replaced it with one that works great. You can disassemble these things at the side (two-sided shell), clean any moisture out of them, snap back together and chances are good they'll work (I now have three others working again). Moisture gets into them and they short-circuit.

Our remote was ten (10) years old and needed replacement. We contacted our Satellite Network and was told the charge would be one hundred dollars ($100). It was much higher than we expected.

Later, I checked Amazon and found the same remote for less than twenty-five ($25). It was simple to "set up" and works great!

SHIPPING WAS GREAT PROGRAMMING WAS EASY. AND NOW I HAVE A REMOTE THAT WORKS ACROSS THE ROOM. I GOT KINDA CONFUSED ON WHAT ONE (REMOTE) I NEEDED CAUSE IT LOOKED A LITTLE DIFFRENT THAN MINE (GREEN PATCH ON BOTTOM) BUT WORKING GREAT. I HAVE HAD IT NOW FOR ABOUT A MONTH.

I bought a pair of replacement remotes for the house. Dish Network remotes to be exact. They work they way they are supposed to. They were delivered in a couple of days from when I ordered, & they work perfectly. I am happy.

Even when there is an outside vender they take payment and assume responsibility. This is safe and reliable service.

I debated on whether to get this or not but for the price I took a chance and this remote was exactly what we needed. Our original remote had broken after years of use. It works well and connected easily enough. The only issue was the directions were only in Spanish but my teenage boys figured it out so all was good.

The old mote was getting tired so we ordered a new one using the model & type shown on the back of the old mote. No problems were encountered and the new mote arrived in good shape, was programmed to the receiver and worked as advertized.

Remote Control performed as was expected from a new control. Had to call Dish to get it properly working other than that every thing worked great.

Product was shipped in a timely mannner and worked right out of the box. This is my second remote bought from this company and both have worked great! Will order again from them if the need arises. Thanks!
