The Dish Turbo HDTV Satellite Dish Tripod Kit is perfect for the traveler that wanted to take their satellite TV on the road. All you need to do is assemble the dish, connect the dish to the receiver, and then point the dish to the satellite!
Comes with a folding portable tripod mount that makes it convenient to put your dish up to 50 ft away from your RV or campsite. This kit comes with a Satellite finder with a built backlight that makes pointing the dish easy. All you need is your Dish Network receiver, 120v power, your television, and couple hand tool. Dish aiming instructions are included.

Ordered this system and after learning that there was a internal switch in the lnb. I HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING IT TO GO. if you have the VIP211K Just plug into port 1 and set satellite.

This setup works great but I just saw one that has micrometer adjustments on the AZ and EL that look a bit easier to dial in. That said, I have not had any trouble setting this one up in multiple locations. The meter helps but I find that using two people with one watching the setup meter on the TV works best to dial it in.

Getting my own antenna and receiver (sold separately) was much cheaper than going through Dish. Putting together the antenna was somewhat difficult due to lack of good directions. I was able to figure it out looking at other antennas that were already assembled and in use. Accurately pointing the dish was time consuming but not difficult.

This unit wasn't packaged very well and was scratched on the surface and the box was flimsy and looked like it was dropped off a 5 story building. Read more

needs to come with better instructions
The products works well however trying to set it up myself was a hassle with what they called instructions. I don't think a rocket scientist could have figured this out.
