This was the first Dishwalla CD I got. I fell in love with it. I heard one song on the radio and had to have it. I bought it sight unseen for the rest of the album. I was so thrilled with the entire thing, I went Dishwalla crazy.

There's not one song on this disk I don't like. I love the whole thing. JR doesn't have the normal bass tones in his voice I love, but he more than makes up for it in the words and music. I'm not a huge fan of their first few CDs, but I'm willing to listen now and they are growing on me.

Opaline is definitely a classic with Dishwalla fans. The chords are haunting and the lyrics insightful. J.R. Richards' voice is incomparable. I would definitely recommend this CD to anyone with a real appreciation of music. Dishwalla at their best.

Absolutely awesome!! It took me two years to take it out of my player, only to replace it with the live version--"Live From the Flo State". So many subtleties and nuances in the writing and production, yet they execute the performance perfectly. Literaly one of my all time desert island faves.

J.R. Richards has one of the best voices in music and the songs just pull you in. Every one of their albums to date are 5 STAR. J.R. Richards has his first solo album, "Ghost of Sorrow", due in May 2008.
