The Disney Car Carrying Case I bought does have 50 slots for individual storage unlike the other comments here. However the slots will only hold the small die cast cars. Mater,Doc,Ramone,and any die cast cars with a fin attached will not fit in this case. So 50 cars in this case would be a stretch at best unless you have duplicate smaller die cast cars. I think the attept to change the case may have been to fit 50 cars inorder to meet the advertised amount on the box, but has fallen short because not all die cast cars fit in it. They have done nothing but made the add fit the case not the case fit the add.

It doesn't hold "50" cars! It has a few compartments to cram as many cars as you can, but you'd have to get 3-4 cars in each compartment to hold 50. Many compartments cannot hold but one of the larger Cars characters like Mater or The King. It is durable.

I was disappointed in both the description of and quality of this product. The description says the case will hold up to 50 Disney Cars but there are only 15 slots for cars. You can put two, maybe three cars into one slot depending on size, but I don't think it will hold 50, unless of course you really cram them in. Its not a heavy plastic so I have my doubts as to how long its going to hold up.

Absolutely not worth the money. This is a glorified plastic box, with a handle and dividers. While it serves its purpose, it def. isn't worth $20. Had I seen it in person, I would never have paid this much. If you can get it for under $8, I'd say go for it.

I just gave my 4-year old boy a few hundred matchbox cars from the 1970s, which I had kept in storage for just such an occasion. This case fits old matchbox cars perfectly - in fact, since some of the cars are so "skinny", you can often fit two in one single slot.

My only complaint is that I wish the latch keeping it closed were more stable - like a buckle or clasp, and not simply a notched slot. My old matchbox car cases had these buckles, and they provided much more security from inadvertent openings.

I purchased this case at walmart on clearance for $9. If I had spent anymore than that, the case most likely would have been returned. I found this case with the other Cars movie memorabilia thinking that is was made to hold the diecast vehicles from the movie. Wrong! My son has over 30 of these cars and only a few fit well. Most of the cars have to be pushed in the slot while others don't fit at all. Whoever designed this case should be demoted or fired. This case is completely deceiving! I still don't know for certain if this case is intended to hold the Cars vehicles or just plain matchbox cars in a Lightning McQueen theme. Very disappointing!

I was thinking when I purchased this case it was for Chuck cars and was quite disappointed at first. (Totally my fault!) It works great for my son's matchbox cars and he loves it.

I might as well have flushed my money down the toilet! It doesn't hold most of the Disney Cars because the cars are bigger then the slots! It will hold the little matchbox cars if they are tiny enough which didn't help me; because I wanted to differentiate between his types of cars. I should have just gotten little rummbermaid box and labeled them- Disney cars... matchbox cars, trains etc... Don't but this, it was the worst thing I have ever bought. I should have saved my receipt so I could have returned it. I rate this zero stars!

Overall the case seems to be a good value. It stores adequate number of cars; however, slot space alotted is not deep enough for some vehicles such as Flow, Mater and Tex. These vehicles have to be doubled up in one of the three larger slots. Nevertheless, our 3-year-old has enjoyed using the case to carry his cars around the house and on external trips. And his mom and I are glad to have the cars off the toy room floor.

As others have said, only the tiny cars will fit in this case. The case seems durable, nice plastic, will hold 50 cars- 3 of the slots are bigger spaced than the rest, the slots on the far left and far right are slightly more skinny than the rest... but this box will not fit even the main characters in general. Its slots are the size of normal matchbox cars in my opinion, any of the cars that are longer (like Tex Dinoco) or wider or have fins (like Flo) or taller (like Mater) will not fit! I'm not talking about the megasize versions...just the regular sized ones, don't fit. Even putting Lightning in one of the far left or right slots... makes the slots bow out/stretch. Very disappointed in it for that reason. And I'm not crazy about the cover design- they put a variation of the two main characters on it (tokyo version or something minor) instead of putting the designs of McQueen and Mater that the children are most familiar with, the way they look in their main roles... basic old Mater and Lightning McQueen. Failure on design truly. We will be keeping the case, but using it for smaller matchbox cars, not for the disney pixar cars we intended it for. What were they thinking when they made this? Disappointment for sure.
