I just got this book to read to my 5 month old every night before bed. While there are not many pictures (one on each page), the stories are just short enough to hold his attention. I would recommend this for every parent wanting to start a bedtime ritual with their kids.

I absolutely love this book. I bought for my daughter for Christmas, but I didn't start reading it to her until January 1. This book is great because there is a different story for everyday of the year. All of the stories are one page and although there are few pictures my 3 year old stays and listens because the stories involve her favorite Disney characters. I would recommend this book to anyone with kids!!

My young daughter and I are huge Disney fans and have all the Disney Princess books and other Disney-related books. What we love SO much about the stories in THIS book is that there's so much variety - not just in the number of movies (40), but in the stories themselves. For example, the "Beauty and the Beast" stories include a funny one about Belle and Gaston before the start of the movie, a sweet one about Belle and the prince after the movie, and even an adorable story about Maurice and Mrs. Potts. There's a "Lady and the Tramp" story about how Tramp first met Tony (the Italian Restaurant owner), a story about Jack Skellington checking out the OTHER holiday worlds besides Christmas, a story about Hamm the piggy bank trying to explain what "money" is to Buzz Lightyear.

These stories are creative, funny, cute, and in-character for all the movie characters, and cover a wonderful variety of Disney and Pixar movies. Very highly recommended!

The book is an attempt to create bed time stories based on Disney hits. However whereas the films are hits, the stories are boring and make you feel that that though illustrations are originals the stories are plain nonsense.

This book was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She loves Disney, but not necessarily books. I thought I'd try to combine the two to get her to sit still and listen to (and help read stories). She loves it and asks for it every night now!!! Each day of the year has a 1-page story set in a different Disney animated movie. The stories are not all direct from the movies either. The stories just use the characters and settings from movies...but with various stories. I highly recommend this book for any child who loves Disney films!

The stories are really one page snippets from the main storylines of the movies. My [...] was moderately interested in the stories for which he has seen the movies and not very much interested at all in the ones for which he hasn't seen the movies. I believe the main reason he did not find these stories very interesting was because reading a random page from a story book cannot possibly be too interesting for a toddler.

This is a bad book. There are no beginnings or endings to each story - they are simply random cut and pastes of the full-length story. I would not recommend this book to anyone!

I bought this for my son's fourth birthday and he really loves it. The stories are only one page long and even young children are able to listen till the end. Also it involves favourite Disney characters. It does not have a lot of pictures like the other Disney books, but still my son likes it. It is definitely worth buying.
