You can not do much wrong with all those items for that price... I love the different sized books and cards - and with the DVD and music and toy it all comes together. The toys is not as amazing but cute - will have to see still if my son will like it too (14 months)...
I is just a good basic started set and I would so recommend this as a gift as well.

The board books are nice to hold and the large words are good to read. I think its very useful in entertaining and educating ur child at the same time.

Last year for my sons first christmas i knew he would be bombarded with toys and clothes, so i wanted to give him something that would last and would be educational. I decided on this. I can say a year and a half later that i am still completely pleased with my purchase. My son has learned alot from reading the books and looking at the cards, in fact its instilled a love for reading in general that is irreplacable in my eyes. The books held up well to his first year, and i'm confident that they'll be enjoyed just as much by his sister this upcoming year. The box set was a cost effective way to start his baby einstein book and dvd collection. I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND!!!

This is a fantastic kit. It was a X-Mas present for my 9 month old niece. Although she can't fully appreciate this yet, it never hurts to start that brain early. My sister is a big fan of Baby Einstein stuff, and this is no different.

The seller did not get this to me in time for Christmas, it was delivered in the time quoted, but I ordered it 12-11-10 and received it 12-27 (or 28th). Being 9 months old my niece didn't care, but as an uncle, I was a bit disappointed.

It did arrive in perfect condition, so that is a plus.

Bottom line, buy this, but allow 3 weeks for delivery.

This is a great giftset! I saved a lot of money over purchasing these items seperately. Seller was excellent and I recieved my product quickly!
