On December 15, 2003, Walt Disney World presented The Kiss series of pins. There are six different framed portraits in the series. Each one features a different Disney Princess and her Prince, kissing. They are Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine (Aladdin), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). The portrait frames are raised, or layered on the enamel pin surface.
This pin features a profile portrait of Belle and her Prince. They are kissing. She appears with brunette hair and wears a pale yellow gown and full-length gloves. The Prince appears with light auburn hair and wears a blue jacket trimmed with a yellow collar. The portrait appears on a pink background.
The intricate filigree-style frame is gold-toned. It is raised from the enamel portrait pin surface to add dimension. Hearts and vines are used for the frame detail and accent design motif.
All painted areas of the portrait are edged in gold. The pin is made of painted hard enamel on base metal, and is mounted on the official Disney Mickey Mouse Ears backing display which is black velveteen material on a black plastic card. The front of the display card has the Disney pin trading web site address at the bottom and the Disney "Pin Trading Around the World" logo at the top, in silver print. The pin itself is attached to the backing display card with a black rubber Mickey Mouse ear clutch, which is also used to wear the pin if desired. The back of the pin reads "Official Pin Trading 2004" inside the Mickey Mouse Head Logo and "(c) Disney." Original packaging and price sticker.
