I bought this mat for my 5 year old niece for Christmas. She loves dancing and interactive games, so I thought it would be a great hit with her. She liked it - but couldn't really understand how to play with it. The directional lights at the top were a little confusing to her because she thought that the color should match that of the spot she was to put her foot on (all of the lights are the same color). She still had fun playing with it because of the music, but didn't really follow the dance patterns. It would be a great toy for the right child, though. And several of the adults had fun playing on it.
