Cute night light! ! Doesn't shine extremely bright but looks cute in the wall especially since my son's room is cars theme. Other reviews said the auto shut off did not work but I was suprised to find my auto shut off Does Work!! Would buy it again. Looking for lightning for other wall.

The night light doesn't go off during the day or when the light is turned on, but I found that if you angle it upwards a bit, it does turn off.

I noticed that Mater's hood is a bit long in front thereby casting a shadow on the sensor and blocking it. It works properly when I angled the light up, but then Mater looks like he's about to fly out with ET, pointed up.

The light itself is good, just enough brightness.

My sons whole room is cars stuff, which I ordered off amazon, and he needed a new night light because the one he had from walmart broke.It's cute, and he has take the abuse of a two year old boy. It came fast, and I did'nt pay more than six bucks for it.

I got this for my son's room since he likes Mater and he didn't want total darkness in his room. It lights up fine when you plug it in but it doesn't dim or turn off during the day. No matter how much light is in the room, this still stays on the same brightness. The bulb will burn out quickly this way and I might be okay with this if it at least had an on/off switch. I wanted a nightlight that senses daylight or other lights and only comes on in the dark but this does not work that way. So while it's cute, it's not what I thought I was getting so I can't recommend it. We have to unplug it during the day and replug it in each night. It might not be a big deal for some people but depending on the location of the wall outlet, it can be a pain.

Got it few days back for my 5 year old son's room, who likes Pixar Car's characters very much. He liked it very much. Its working well. Don't know what more to expect from this. It a nice little thing which works with kids, so you can buy it.
