My four year old son loves this! It was well worth the money! The tent got put up and didn't come down for a month. It was slept in every night and even a couple of naps. It was big enough to put a crib size mattress in. The tent is sturdy and the slumber bag is as nice as any we have purchased. It is not a bag for outdoor use. The tent was put away in perfect condition. I recommed this for any of your little CARS fans! The backpack and water bottle were a nice touch. I another tip I did put a little vaseline on the zipper and open and close it myself a couple of times. It just made it smoother and easier for him to open. The tent has a great window in the door. I just can't say enough about this product.

Great for the price! My kids absolutely love playing in the tent.

It's a great value for $29.99(sleeping bag-tent-backpack-water bottle and compass). The tent is fairly easy to put up. The Backpack is a nice material. The sleeping bag washes well.

My 4-year old grandson hasn't slept without this sleeping bag since I got it for him. It was to have stayed at my house, but he wanted to take it home. Washed up great and colors stayed true. Good value!

As a total package, I do think this is a good buy. Mainly because the tent is really fun, decently made, and was a complete hit. The poles are a little fragile, though, so if you put 5 five-year-olds in it, rough housing, it's easily possible to break one (replaceable at a camping store). The sleeping bag is okay-- cold rated to 60 degrees, meaning that it's really for indoor use at sleepovers. The backpack and the drinking bottle are both complete crap and fell apart very quickly. However, overall, this is a fun thing to get for a Cars-fixated boy who wants to try out some very tame indoor camping.

This tent was a really successful gift on christmas morning with my teenager and toddler and hubby playing in it.
It had only been put up once and left up.......when we took it down two weeks later one of the poles snapped and so now it is useless as the tent sags in one corner.
The build quality of the tent isn't great, but it had stood up to the use by my boisterous boys without any problems. However the poles are very thin fiber glass with a string running through and it took very little for it to snap. My hubby is an engineer and he couldn't see how to effectively repair it and took the tent down as he was concerned about splinters from the broken fibre glass which can be really nasty.
The sleeping bag has already lost a huge amount of stitching that holds it together and is still losing it.
The backpack won't take anything too weighty so it is good it is just for play. But a toddler will probably enjoy it.
The compass was such poor quality my hubby called it garbage and threw it in the bin as soon as it came out of the box.
The bottle is ok.

Unfortunately we can't return the set as defective as my hb threw away the compass!!!
I won't buy this set or any like again tho. We are going to replace it with a pop up tent instead.

This kit is comprised of a tent, sleeping bag, pillow, water bottle and backpack. The tent is holding up fairly well, although it's never been taken down once it was initially set up. It has been moved around a bit without ill effect.

As for the rest of the kit, it's complete junk. The backpack and water bottle didn't last a week before practically disintegrating, and the image (silk screened?) on the pillow is just about gone.

In the end, it's all cheaply made junk. If I were to do this again, I'd forgo the "Cars" branding and get my son excited about real, albeit low end, camping gear. It would cost more, but hey, you get what you pay for.

We purchased this for my son's 4th birthday. He LOVES it! After "camping" for almost a week in the basement we finally took the tent down to get him back in his bed. This tent is perfect for inside. We haven't had an opportunity to test it outside yet, but we will have a regular tent as a backup.

i like all the items that come with the tent. my son is 15 months old and we play in it in the living room. he also uses the book bag and bottle on a daily basis as his baby bag.we also take naps in it.

I purchaesd this as a christmas gift for my 1+ year old godson, and his parents couldn't set it up fast enough to get him in there...hanging out on the sleeping bag in his very own tent!!! he was super excited!!! It's really cute and way better made than I ever expected, especially considering the price and how many pieces come with it.
