Product Description

This Ginsey home solution Disney Cars travel potty seat make you ready to take your potty training out in the world. You don't have to be worried about the reaction your little one is going to have the first time you try to use a rest room. This wonderful new portable potty seat will allow you take the seat along for the ride. Its seat folds for easy and discrete carrying in a diaper bag or large purse. This comes with a zip lock bag for storage. Its seat flips open and stays locked for stability. The small pads along the bottom keep from scratching your toilet seat. When folded, the seat measures approx. 7" x 6". It is designed for round toilets. This is a great idea for the mom or dad on the go, when your kid has to go. It is much more hygienic than letting your child sit on a public toilet seat.

Customer Reviews

This potty seat is easy to take on road trips and use in public restrooms for little ones.
Angela Williams
It doesn't fit incredibly well on any public or other toilets that have an oval shape to the opening rather than a circle.
Sarah L Meaden
It has nothing to do with actually helping hold the potty seat in place, as it slides around all too easily.

This seat is now sitting in the garbage in JFK airport terminal 5 bathroom. it didn't even make it through security.

Three attempts with a small, light 3 year old girl:
1. Seat slides out of the way, butt in water, screaming 3 yr old
2. Extra careful and super conservative successful attempt. All the way both daddy and daughter held our breath
3. Seat again slide sout of the way, butt in water, screaming 3 yr old.

After the third attempt, the seat went in the garbage with the wipes used to dry her off.

This thing is cheap and light and doesn't make anyone feel secure, but the big issue is that there is nothing to keep it on the seat. It needs something to hold itself securely on the toilet seat.

Disaster. do not buy it

I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter (37 lbs) to use while we were out in public. I hoped it would ease her fear of the big, public, toilets. It doesn't stay in place on the public seats. I finally threw it away after it slipped off completely with her nearly falling into the toilet. The folds also pinched her butt. I could see this seat working in a private home with a "normal" toilet bowl.
I don't understand why they wouldn't make "to go" product to fit the plumbing in most "to go" places.

This potty seat helps my daughter feel safe and secure on any potty. She doesn't get scared that she's going to fall in, and every potty has a familiar "face". I can fold it up, stick it in a plastic grocery bag, shove it in my purse, and wipe it off another time - at home or in the car. It's always ready to go.

My one concern is that we've only been using it for about a month, and the back hinge seems to give a little when she sits on it altough she weighs only 29 lbs. It will be a sad day if that snaps and she goes plunging into the toilet. For now it seems that it's just the give of the plastic, but I would be cautious if you have a larger child!

My review goes along the lines of the other mother with the light 3-year-old who ended up with her butt in the water at the airport, only add a conked head on the back of the toilet when she slipped! In my opinion, this seat should not only be not sold, it should be recalled as a safety hazard!! I plan on reporting this to the CSPC today! My daughter is also small and light for her age, and even with me helping her, the seat slipped and she fell. The whole point of this was to help her get to be more independent on the potty! The packaging is deceptive!! There is nothing to keep it from sliding around on the seat, and it does not work on oval toilets (which is what we have). Also, there are gaps at the hinges that can pinch sensitive areas. It also seemed to almost buckle under her weight! DON'T BUY THIS!!!!

I like the portable seat but if you try to put on some of the more oval toilets that many stores have it slip slides from side to side. I still have to hold my daughter to keep her from falling in.

...it just doesn't work. It's too small and has to be at the very front of the toilette seat which leaves all of the rest of the toilette seat to be touched, grabbed and played with by little ones. So, if you have a boy, his pee pee will touch the toilette if he's sitting to go #2. Also, the most frustrating of all is that it doesn't stay in place...when you sit the child on the seat, it slips around and if you have a very active child (as most of us do) they love sliding around on it and it distracts from the reason they are on the toilette to begin with. I've broken a sweat using this every time and just gave up. Sorry, I wish I had something good to say about it...I really wished it worked better.

Bought this for our (small) 3 yr old boy to use while away from home...preparing to be traveling for an entire month this summer. I am taking this stupid seat back! It is absolutely not strong enough & it slides all over the place. And it is a horrible design for boys!!! There is not enough room (when fitted over the front side of a standard HOME seat) for him to poop and point his thing down to pee! So, one of the 2 is going to end up ouside the toilet! NOT COOL. And there is no possible way to even try to use this seat on a public, enlogated seat. Which is what most people encounter when they aren't home!! Seriously? Somebody needs their head examined...

I put it on the toilet and the overhang lip in the front does not hang over enough. If it did, I think it would help keep it in place better. However, the cushions on the underneath (wish they would show you that on the product images) are just that, a cushion. It has nothing to do with actually helping hold the potty seat in place, as it slides around all too easily. It snapped open well and I felt it was good, but once I sat my 16month old 21lb girl on it, I better understand the reviews others are giving. Although it's snapped together pretty solidly, when I put my daughter on it, she seat really sunk in toward the toilet water a bit, enough to worry me too much to keep it. I can see where people might say it pinches because although it's not supposed to bend anymore in that direction, it does, and could possibly pinch. My main issues with the seat though are that it:
1 - had nothing to click it/stick it on the seat to keep it in place
2 - sinks down under the weight of my 21 lb girl
3 - I can see my own hands getting unsanitary from touching the seat to open and close it after being on the toilet

I think it's a great idea, but not a well developed/made product to do the job it's supposed to do.
