We bought this to keep our daughter occupied in the car during long trips. She loves to do electronic coloring on the computer, the Disney software was appealing and the reviews were all good, so we were very excited about this toy. However, after unboxing and putting batteries in it, we are very disappointed in the product. The screen image is terrible -- you can hardly distinguish colors and the pixilation is very bad. The pre-loaded software only has 10 coloring pages. The dot to dot game doesn't have the child follow numbers or letters so it has absolutely no educational value. We were not able to test the additional Princess cartridge we bought without tearing opening the packaging, but even if the software was great it would'nt overcome the terrible screen image. The images look nothing like the one on the packaging. This toy is going back to the store tomorrow. It was a great premise, but poorly done.

I have three kids...with three Dream Sketchers. They're great toys. My kids all love to play for hours at a time. The toy itself is durable and ours have survived being dropped! This is a great toy in our book!

I have 2 children (6 & 8 yrs old)that I recently purchased the Mickey Mouse dream sketcher for. They have not stopped playing with it all weekend long. They continue to be amazed with all of the fun activities they can play. My 6 year old especially loves the puzzles that she can play on the cartridges and my 8 year old loves the coloring book. I am so happy they have a new activity that is so portable and filled with hours of enjoyment.

I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE REVIEWER THAT WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH
THIS PRODUCT. IT HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR GREAT FUN. BUT, THE
SCREEN IS FUZZY. IT EVEN SAYS ON THE BACK OF THE BOX "SCREEN
IMAGES USED FOR REPRESENTATION ONLY."(THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT THIS CARDBOARD PICTURE STUCK ON THE FRONT OF THE TOY TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE WHEN TURNED ON). IT CONTINUES TO SAY "ACTUAL IMAGES ON SCREEN MAY VARY IN PIXELATION". AT LEAST THEY ARE HONEST. TO PAY OVER $50 FOR THE
MAIN UNIT AND $15 FOR EACH CARTRIDGE IS WAY TOO MUCH FOR THE
QUALITY. LEAPSTER AND PIXTER ARE MUCH BETTER QUALITY AND MUCH
MORE EDUCATIONAL IN ADDITION TO GOOD FUN.

My son (7) got this for a birthday gift and is really ejoying it. He really likes the drawing/art features. It keeps him occupied for quite a while (which isn't always easy to do!!). He really likes the animated erase feature!!! He also like the dot to dot--the excitment of quessing what the picture will be and then decortating it. My daughter (4) is very into puzles and likes doing the puzzles on here and I don't have to worry about the missing pieces! We haven't printed yet but are excited about that feature. We got the incredibles cartrige(fun!) and nemo (haven't used yet) and plan to buy toy story too. Will definitley be taking this on our long car trip next time we go ! Love the DISNEY THEME TOO! WE will be getting our daughter the girl version.

I recently bought this toy for my 3 and 4 year old daughters to use on a long trip. It was amazing. We didn't hear from them for hours. Any toy that keeps their interest this long is a winner in my book. My 4 year old especially loved the connect-the-dots game and the match game on the princess cartridge and my little one loved to paint by numbers and use the stampers. They especially loved being able to e-mail their artwork to their grandparents when they were done.

I just bought the Disney Dream Sketcher for my almost 5 year old granddaughter. I haven't seen her so excited about a new toy in quite a while as she was with this one. The creativity is awesome; she loves the fact that she can interact with different activities, and as a teacher, I also appreciate it's educational value.

We bought this toy on sale for a pretty good price. My youngest son is Mickey Mouse crazy so we bought it just for that reason alone. I must say that compared to the Leapster (which my children LOVE) it is very basic and the graphics are really grainy and the colors not that vibrant. But, having said that, my boys (age 3 & 5) love playing with this. We have since bought two additional cartridges (Nemo and Toy Story...also on sale) and they really seem to enjoy them. They love downloading the pictures to the computer and printing them out...a nice feature. The Leapster, however, wins hands down in this house. But, I must say that this was not money wasted. It does eat through the batteries (6 AAs!)so rechargables are a must. But, I would not recomend this one at full price. The basic leapster handheld is about the same price and much more versitle and educational!

My kids just received this as a "Big Sibling" gift and they love it!! It has also been a life saver for me with a newborn. My 5 year old plays with it the most and especially loves the puzzles and memory games. It's very educational and fun at the same time!!

Returned from Disney World and picked up Dream Sketcher vs. Soft Disney Toy for my son. Loves the "Incredibles" and "Finding Nemo" - Dream Sketcher offered both activity software, screen and animation great, much more educational then any video game. Now I'm able to watch my own TV without having "dad, I want Nemo DVD". Highly recommended!
