My daughter asked for this toy for Christmas, and when I bought it for her, I had know idea what it was, really. Once I opened, I realized that it was a toy that you could only use with the computer and I had to upload software to my computer. So I was a little disappointed with that. On the positive side, the parts it comes with are jewelry, so my daughter is happy. We signed her up to Pixie Hollow which she loves playing. She has her own little fairy. The downside is that in order to purchase a lot of the stuff from the little shops within Pixie Hollow, you have to have a membership. But my daughter is content just flying her fairy around and doing the little quests.

Each charm gets 1 online item for your fairy, it is consumerism as you have to buy items for your online fairy to use, but my 8 year old loves this game and loves the charms/box and has used it a lot. On the downside it isn't cheap to clothe your fairy, and she wasn't happy until she had a handful of charms to mix and match. Not worth getting unless you plan to add charms @ $[...] - $[...] for each set of three, but worth getting if you are OK with adding more pieces.

This online stuff is not even available anymore!! I had to search the web for any software and found it in a thread. We can NOT open the drawer and the online stuff that I CAN do makes no sense to me... If anyone figures out how to open the drawer, PLEASE POST IT! At least she could use it for some 'storage'...
