Not warm enough for camping but the kids love it,

I do think this is a great bed and that we will get plenty of use and fun out of it, but it is not warm enough for camping. The only thing separating the child from the cold airmatress is the fitted sheet. I think that in some homes that is not even warm enough for a sleepover. So our fix is just to put a fleece blanket down on top of the fitted sheet. And we have taken it camping and our daughter was plenty warm with some fleece PJ's and some extra blankets. She loves the bed and wants us to blow it up every time she sees it on the shelf.

poor customer service / poor product quality,
This review is from: Disney Princess EZ-Bed (Sports)
We received two airbed as a gift and used them 1 time before one started to leak air. I called the manufacture and waited over a week to hear back. After speaking with Tammy Marcum in customer service (the person listed on there web site as head of customer service http://www.exxel.com/index.php/contact) I was told that because I did not technically purchase the product (it was a gift) I did not qualify for the warranty. She sated "if we refund you or replaced your unit, the store that it was bought at would get there money, you would have paid nothing, and we would be out the cost, someone needs to be out money and it wont be us." she further said its not there fault it leaked because they buy the air beds from China so they should not be liable for the leak. (note, Exxel's web site proudly lists all over that there product is made in America and they compete against China products to bring jobs to the US(...)
I asked why they don't stand behind there product and was told that she didn't have time for such discussions and if I don't like the policy to argue with "the big box company" that sold it so the refund doesn't effect her bottom line.

First... no pump is included, so we had to run out and buy one. Secondly, it is so squeaky loud that every time ouir daughter moved at night we woke up. She evn eventually decided she wanted to sleep on the floor.
Cute and handy, and good for fun, but not a long trip or if you're sharing the room.

We needed a refund,

We got this for a camping trip. It looked like a good idea because our 5 and 6 year old kids had a tendency to roll off their air beds when they toss and turn. It apeared as if the sleeping bag was fixed to the air mattress, thereby preventing that from happening. But it is really just a fitted sheet over an air mattress with one side of a sleeping bag zipped to it. So like others have said, it does not offer much warmth on the bottom and, more importantly, the fitted sheet kept popping off the air mattress, which defeated the purpose for us getting it. I also have not had good luck with air mattresses and eventual leaks. One other thing, when rolling up the mattress for storage, it seemed to trap air pockets that could not escape through the valve, it was a very frustrating experience. In the end, it is pretty cheap, but I still felt like we didn't get what we paid for.
We ended up just getting a self inflating air mattress for the kids, which sits lower to the ground, can be used with any sleeping bag, and provides the comfort they need.

very cute bed and would be great if it held air. It was completely flat by morning. The air connection just twists on and sets back in so found it hard to get a hold of and obviously couldn't get it connected enough.

Horrible product! Don't order!,

This bed is aweful. It didn't even last one night. My daughter was on the floor in the morning because all the air had gone out of it. I rated it one star because it wouldn't let me rate it with zero stars. And it smelled really bad. DON'T ORDER!!!

Flimsy, hassle to deflate,

The "sleeping bag" portion of this is flimsy, cheap, and lightweight. I'm concerned it won't hold up for washing. As another reviewer pointed out, there is nothing more than a flimsy sheet between the kid and the mattress, so we put a thick towel between the sheet and the mattress. Also needed to buy sheet suspenders to keep fitted sheet on because it slipped right off the first time my daughter laid down on it. The mattress portion is sturdy enough. Difficult to deflate even with a pump because the baffling in the mattress traps pockets of air. But my daughter thinks it's pretty and likes to sleep in it so we're keeping it.

Great for naptime,
This review is from: Disney Princess EZ-Bed (Sports)
The air mattress arrived about 3-weeks ago and has been working great for nap time (4-days per week) at Grandma's house. No problems holding air. Grandma reports that the "sheet" does slip off, as my 3.5 -year old daughter, Z., moves around. We've talked about adding velcro and elastic straps to keep it on. I guess a regular sleeping bag or just blankets would work instead, but Z. likes the "sleeping bag" it came with. Although I haven't measured, it's at least as long as Z.'s toddler bed at home, which is good, since she is tall for her age.

We used this bed for camping, the kids loved it, it kept the kids warm. I suggest trying at home first, mine had a hole and I had to fix it with the patch that was in the package but I was lucky that I inflated at day time.
