I bought this watch as a birthday present for my 6-yr-old daughter. Beforehand, her twin brother could tell time relatively well, but my daughter had never shown an interest in learning this skill - until she got her watch. Now she's able to tell time (a week later) using her new watch.

My only complaint is that the band is a little stiff and is sometimes uncomfortable on her little wrist, but I expect it to loosen with use.

If you have a preschooler or kindergarten student who needs to practice telling time with an analog clock, this might be a product for you. My 6-year old daughter loves her watch and can tell time fairly well with the help of the extra numbers on the watch face. My only real complaint is that the numbers are rather small, so she has trouble seeing them sometimes (she wears glasses). The band is a bit bulky too, but you can always switch out the Velcro band (which is a good idea for a young child) with another one that is less bulky.

This watch is just like the picture and helped my daughter learn how to remember what each hand was because it labels the hour and minute hands. She started telling the correct time within a month. The watch itself is very durable.
