A Guide To Epcot Illuminations, Millennium Celebration, Tapestry, & the Pre-Show Music

After much research I have found the complete track listings of both Illuminations CDs, and after comparing them by looking at the tracks visually on Sound Studio, I can tell you for certain that the Fireworks Spectacular, and the songs, "We Go On" and "Promise" are identical on the two CDs. Only the Parades are different. I like the Tapestry of Dreams Parade better. And the Gospel song (which is nice) is not on the Tapestry of Dreams CD.

PRE-SHOW MUSIC
Before the Fireworks show begins, a 30-minute music loop is played around the lagoon. The first loop played from the show's premiere through 2004. The second has been running from 2004 to the present. Most people prefer the original loop. I have not yet found one CD with this All this music, but I did find all of it on Amazon after lots and lots of searching. I also corrected some spelling errors. When I was searching, I noticed that some of these CD albums were actually less money than a single mp3 track, and 99% of the time, I get a CD in Near Mint condition for an amazing price. The CDs I get on Amazon always play perfectly, and sound better than mp3s. But if I was going to get All these songs, I would probably get all the CDs with more than one song (indicated by ***), and mp3s when the CD is expensive.

This is the music from the wonderful fireworks display at Epcot. If you have seen it, the music will bring it all back to you. This is by far one of my favorite cd's to listen to and my children also love to dance to it in the living room. The first 2 tracks cover the fireworks music. The second track is fairly long and was created more as a background track. I am not sure where it was used in Epcot. Promise is beautiful song which will sound familiar as it is a stand alone version of "We Go On". I imagine I will hear this one in somebody's wedding someday. The last track is the gospel version of a song that I heard running with the fountain inside Epcot between the globe and the entrance to World Showcase. I must admit I preferred the version that was in time with the fountain, but it is still an enjoyable song. Basically, if you saw the fireworks at Epcot, you will enjoy this cd.
