I got this for my 3-year old grandson. He is a slow talker. This book has pictures you can identify on the side, then ask them for find them in the picture. He had a great time with it. It has many pages of look and find pictures of all areas, from characters, to seasons, to colors, etc. He has spent hours with it. It is a great book and I heartily recommend it.

the ones we have are small, containing no more than dozen words per spread and my 3yr old gets bored with them quickly. This book is PACKED with pictures, it keeps his attention for a long time, and I will be using it to teach him both english and croatian words. Really nice book.

My 3yr3month old daughter got this as a present 3 days ago from a visiting relative. She absolutely loved this. She is a very active girl who doesn't like to sit at one place for long. And she was sitting " all by her self" with this book in a couch the day after she got this book and turning pages and observing what is in it. She wants us to read this book to her and doesn't want to stop after 4-5 pages, which she usually does.
Some of the pictures and the titles below the pictures can be confusing(that's why only 4 stars) but not too many. On the whole, I recommend this book.

My daughter (2 yrs) and son (3 yrs) love this book. Most of the pages have small pictures of items around the side of a bigger picture which contains all the items seen along the side. We sit together and I have them find the items from the smaller pictures in the bigger one. They have so much fun.

Our daughter is in kindergarten and her class goes to the school library once a week. This week is the third time she has brought this book home! She is a very active girl, but sits and looks through this book for hours. She is learning how to read and by using the visual clues,she tells us what the words are. Plus, she loves seeing the Disney characters from her favorite movies!!

this book has the traditional vivid Disney colors. each page has a theme (shapes, colors, things in a neighborhood, things in a dessert shop, numbers, seasons, months of the year, sea creatures, wild animals) usually based on a coordinating Disney cartoon. example-- the little mermaid page shows different sea creatures and the 101 dalmations page counts dogs. it is a wonderful book for kids and adults to share together. my 2-year old loves it.

The actual book is great. I first bought a copy years ago. It has all of the Disney characters that my kids like and big, colorful pictures.
The particular book that I ordered, however, was missing a few pictures (cut out). I didn't mind too much as this was a 2nd copy for the younger kids to look at (and probably destroy).

I ordered this book on 12/17/10 and didn't receive it until 1/13/11. The book was in great condition, and was worth the price. My oldest son read this book everyday from the time he was 16 months to age 2 1/2 and it helped his volcabulary tremendously. However, the book was very worn and missing a few pages, since it was now out of print it was hard to find a new one for my youngest son at a reasonable price. Overall very happy with the order, with the exception of the shipping.

This is a favorite book among my daycare children. It's a fun way for them to increase their vocabulary

My Grandson is one year old and he loves this book. It is in excellent condition with this exception of the first page being ripped. I have fixed the tear with scotch tape and the problem is taken care of. It is very certain that this will be a great tool in his early learning.
