Quality is decent, not fab, and the choice of characters will please most girls in the target age group.

I bought two of these sets at a local big box store for my daughters age 6 and 9. There was a bundle with Ana and Kristoff available that was a better value per doll, but this set appears to be the only way get Sven and Olaf in a size that works well with 12" dolls. The dolls appear to be the same quality as the Sparkle Ana and Sparkle Elsa dolls available individually, but the dolls in this set don't have the extra fabric of Ana's cape or Elsa's train like the sparkle dolls do. They do not bend at the elbows or knees, so they don't sit well on Barbie-style couches or chairs. (The sparkle dolls don't bend at the knees or elbows either.) Olaf's arms articulate at the shoulders, but his hands are molded together. I'm a little worried about the long term durability of Olaf's arms, as my girls want him to be able to hug for some reason, and he just can't. Sven does not articulate, but his harness can be removed. The skirts on Ana and Elsa are removable, so you can put other compatible clothes on these dolls, but your choices are limited due to the lack of elbow articulation. Without the skirts, Ana and Elsa look like they are wearing leotards. (My girls think this makes them look like ice skaters.) The dolls' torsos are cheap plastic, but the detail on them is surprisingly nice. Elsa has a molded snowflake pattern on her plastic arm sleeves, and Ana has little details on the sleeve cuffs and the neckline of her "dress". One of our sets has a more prominent highlight in Ana's hair, but on that doll the seam on her neck didn't line up quite right with her collar. Not a big deal. Both my girls liked that Ana was shorter than Elsa. This set had everything my 6 year old wanted, but for my 9 year old I had to get Kristoff as well. The 12 inch dolls that I bought at the official Disney Store in the past (like Pocahontas and Mother Gothel) were better quality than these frozen dolls, but my daughters were thrilled to have this set, and I did buy them to get played with, not put on display.
