This version of Frozen seems to be cut up and put into a short version. Because of that, it doesn't really make any sense and it is poorly written. It focuses on a young girl exclaiming how handsome a man is, two sisters not getting along and one of kissing a man. It's gives young girls inappropriate messages for how to be. I don't understand how Disney can do to this to young girls.
My 2.5 year old loved this book. I'm not surprised since she loved the movie. She thought the fact that she could see clips from the movie was very fun and I think that is what held her interest. Changing the discs in the dark is a bit annoying and we had to be in a pretty dark room to be able to view the scenes. There may have been some kind of marking on the disc to tell you which part to insert onto the viewer, but I couldn't find one and every time I put the disc in, I was on the wrong frame and had to find the right one (again, it was dark). All in all, I gave this book three stars because my daughter loved it and I thought the book was ok. Not the best written book ever but it told the story of the movie, which was the point I suppose. She wants to read it all the time. I never want to because I don't want to deal with those little discs. So this is a "sometimes" book for us, not a favorite.
