This is the best Little Mermaid costume, imo. I like that it doesn't show so much real skin, for one thing. It also looks more like a mermaid and less like a dress, as most of the others do. It is not itchy, so I understand, and seems pretty sturdy.
I had to do a few stitches on the bra part, because it sort of hangs loose in front. It was easy though. It has a tie in back, more for show, because it is sewn separate from the front bra cups.

My daughter loves this costume. She wore it before Halloween several times, on Halloween, and is still wearing it just to be a princess!
