This is an expensive piece of plastic. It took over 2 hours to add music to the stick, only to find the player didn't play. The music was on the stick but wouln't play through the headset. It would turn on, make a click noise, and shut off. After another 2 1/2 hours of charging, tried it again to same end. Don't waste your money on this. I opted for a real MP3 player (Sansa Clip Plus) for my 6-year-old...same cost and it works. Just add a pink flowery carrying case, and it gives the same effect of having a cute Disney MP3 player...but it will actually play music.

even if this thing played reliably, (which it does not) it would still not be worth more that 10 max...it is a piece of plastic with no way to tell what song is playing, whether it is playing or not...mine just quit playing after the second song I added, the music is on the device, it just will not play through the headphones. HOW VERY FRUSTRATING!! I am a very techy person, own 2 Ipods, an mp3 player, Droid, etc...could not figure this stupid little thing out. DO NOT BUY! I am dissappointed in Disney, and [...] for even selling this thing! **that clear plastic is NOT a screen, just a piece of clear plastic!

It has been a long while since I have purchased an item that performs so badly.

- First, there are no instructions. Sure, it came with an instruction booklet, but that booklet is useless.
- Second, it requires you to download provided software that is terrible. It is not at all user friendly, slow, jams my otherwise fast computer and also has little instructions for use.
- Third, and maybe most importantly, it NEVER WORKED. I plugged it in to charge, it charged for 5 and a half hours and still had no power.

I highly recommend purhcasing the Disney 512Mb Mix Stick Princess Flower Mp3 Player. It requires no software, is easy to use and works like a charm.
