I bought this book for a kiddo who has been playing for one year. It was supposed to be "Easy Violin." The rhythms are tricky, it uses accidentals (D sharp, C sharp on the G string, and some others). It is definitely NOT easy. It would be great for an 8th-9th grader, or a kid who takes lessons who has a teacher to help. But it would be more accurately described as "Intermediate Violin."
It includes Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid, and the songs are cute, just not easy. |
