3.0 out of 5 stars Bummed with the selection December 7, 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I was so looking forward to this CD. We're always on the lookout for new songs for the car, and the kids love to sing along. The first few songs were nice, not necessarily the ones I would have picked to represent those movies, but still good songs. The last five, however, are totally instrumental. Don't get me wrong, I like instrumental pieces, but I did not expect that on a kid's CD! That leaves a few songs on the entire CD that the kids can sing along to. For my purpose, it was not what I expected or what I feel was advertised. The song list for this product does not say "score" or "instrumental" as it does on the jewel case, and I think that should be included so shoppers can decide whether or not to buy the CD.

3.0 out of 5 stars Missing the most obvious songs ... November 30, 2012
Format:Audio CD
As soon as I saw this CD, I thought it might be worth a purchase to get "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story. But amazingly, this song is *not* included. Instead there is an alternative version sung in Spanish included here.

Perhaps there is some type of rights issue that prevented inclusion of that song on this CD - but in that case why issue the CD at all? I suspect that there will be more than a few buyers who didn't look closely at the track listing who are going to be upset at this omission.

Disney Pixar Greatest is a bit older and does not have any music from Brave, but appears to be a much better collection. Disney Pixar Greatest also includes songs like "When She Loved Me" from Toy Story 2 and "Le Festin" from Ratatouille which are not included in Disney Pixar All Time Favorites.

Edit - On closer inspection the songs on Disney Pixar All Time Favorites (this CD) are the ones that didn't quite make the cut on Disney Pixar Greatest, along with some songs from Brave. (None of the songs on All Time Favorites appear on the Greatest set.) I'd still call Disney Pixar Greatest the first disc to get, with this one an acceptable follow on with some good songs like "Woody's Roundup" but also with a lot of filler).

4.0 out of 5 stars It was fine. March 30, 2014
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
My kids love it. There are 1-3 songs from each movie. I do get frustrated at the amount of duplicate songs on all the Disney music cd's in general. There are so many songs for every movie, you'd think that duplicating would be simple to eliminate. Order fulfillment was perfect.

1.0 out of 5 stars Most of the songs are musical no lyrics! January 28, 2014
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I got this thinking it would be great. There is only a couple of songs with lyrics the rest or musical songs with no lyrics or words.

3.0 out of 5 stars Why does Up still get no love? March 25, 2013
Format:MP3 Music
There have been two releases for Disney-Pixar greatest hits, and Up didn't get represented in either of them. The previous "Greatest" is the better of the two in my opinion. I have a Pixar EP that already had most of this disc (such as the Gypsy Kings from Toy Story 3 and the Incredibles opening). I guess I should just go ahead and buy the Up soundtrack already...

5.0 out of 5 stars My toddler son loves this album. March 14, 2013
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
He asks to listen to the "Cars" songs from this album on a regular basis. It's a decent collection of songs. It does not have the Sarah McLachlan song from Toy Story 2; that's on another album.
