5.0 out of 5 stars DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE AND DONT GET FRUSTATED ,THESE CARS ARE NOT SO HARD TO FIND!!!!!!
Speaking the truth , these cars are not so hard find,i happened to find sarge, matter, fillmore and lighting mcqueen at target...the demand is high but not over the edge...its online sellers that make you believe these are hard to get, so you can fall for the bait and purchase from them at 20.00 bucks a piece..dont get ripped off!!!! just go around your local toystores,...

You can find all of these cars at Stop and Shop for 3.99. Including Lizzie and Sarge and all the extra cars in the movies. You can also find the at flea markets for the same price. I just wish they had made a Tex.

Lizzie is a nice little car. Her wheels seems like they could bend in like the tractor die-cast from the movie moments collection. My kids left the tractor on the floor and the wheel bent in. It was fixable, but if it bends too much it could break off. Metal can only take so much stress before it breaks. I have to be on constant guard to take care of these cars. I think the child should be older to take good care of her. If she were to get stepped on she could break off a wheel. The wheels aren't set in like the other cars wheels are. The ages of my boys are [...]. My [...] plays with these cars more, though.

Plus, I finally found Lizzie at Target. These cars are hard to find, but Lizzie and Sarge are the hardest two to find. Her and Sarge were the only two left that I needed to get to complete my son's collection. Unbelieveable how hard these two are to find. I have her at last and now I am trying to find Sarge. I might have to resort to ebay to get Sarge. The prices seem to have dropped some.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great toy for a KID, but 29.99 is a RIDICULOUS price!!!, December 18, 2006

This review is from: Disney Pixar Cars Series 1 Original Lizzie 1:55 Scale Die Cast Car (Toy)
I just found this car at ToysRUs for $3.49; plus others in this series. I came online to Amazon to see if I could find characters not available at the store and I was blown away by these prices--$29.99???? You've got to be kidding me! I bought the TOY cars for my five year old son to PLAY with--the only reason I can see TOYS being priced this high is they must be trying to catch collectors. I'm glad I could find what I did at a local store; I definitely would not pay these high prices...
I would have been very happy to buy others in the series from Amazon, but at these prices I am definitely NOT going to!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Good toy but watch the price!!, December 6, 2006

These are great little toys, and my three year old is obsessed with them! He's getting most of them for Christmas, but we've already bought him a few. They're die cast, so they are a good weight, but note that some of them have plastic pieces as well.

Even though I like these toys, I'm only giving them two stars. This is a horrible price!! I honestly bought Sally today at my local K-Mart, and it was on sale for $2.89 (normally $3.19). Now I know when items are scarce and in high demand their price goes up, but this is a crazy markup. I understand that this is a third party seller, but Amazon should note with their sellers that there is a difference between mark up for high demand toys and rip offs. I have purchased Chick Hicks ($9.50) and Lizzie ($5.00) off of eBay, but I've been able to find the rest of the cars at my local Targets, Wal-Marts, K-Marts, etc. It takes time and searching, but it beats paying these prices!

5.0 out of 5 stars My son loves these Cars, but, August 3, 2006
This review is from: Disney Pixar Cars Series 1 Original Lizzie 1:55 Scale Die Cast Car (Toy)
These cars are as well made and as fun as Hot Wheels and Matchbox, but thanks to all the so-called collectors out there ripping them off the shelves to jack the prices up at auction, real kids can't play with them.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Disney Pixar Cars Series 1 Original Lizzie 1:55 Scale Die Cast Car (Toy)
I was lucky to find Lizzie at target. They only had two left. She is one of the hardest to find. I have all the movie moments sets and 15 out of 16 single ones. (I still need Sarge)
