My son got this for his birthday, and loved it. He enjoys being able to draw his own characters and color them. He wallpapered his room with his artwork. Positives are it is durable, arm folds for putting it away, has a drawer to keep cartridges, great idea in concept. Negatives would be the drawer gets stuck a lot, you need to be a in a very dimly lit room to see what you are drawing, and need to understand that the picture may not always be very clear. But it is clear enough to get the basic idea and trace. The clip isn't very strong- we still used tape on the corner to help. Our bulb burnt out and they give an extra, but we can't get the compartment where we put the bulb to open.

We bought this for Christmas for our 5 year old who loves to draw. The projector is not high quality but I didn't want to pay the price of a premium projector. Both he and his 7 year old brother enjoy drawing the images with this toy. The projector isn't adjustabe, you need to manipulate the paper if you want the image in a different place. Bottom line is that the kids use it and like it. Overall good value.
