I'm an avid fan of Monsters, Inc. as well as a long time video game enthusiast, and I can say that I honestly enjoyed my romp through this game. Though it doesn't take very long to complete, it accurately captures the fun and feel of the movie that fans of all ages are sure to enjoy.

The gameplay consists of standard action/adventure fare. Sulley is to find a number of particular items scattered across different areas, including pieces of Boo's door, laugh cannisters, Boo's teddy bear, etc. Find 100 pieces of candy for an extra life - sound familiar? There is nothing groundbreaking here, but it isn't a chore to play as it controls extremely well and the levels are laid out very well.

The graphics and animation are top-notch for a GBA game, as Sulley and just about every other character in the game are animated very clearly and smoothly.

Bottom Line - If you enjoyed the movie, there is an excellent chance you will enjoy this game - especially the younger bunch.

I THINK IT SHOULD BE FOR THE YOUNGER KIDS, I GOT THROUGH IT TOO FAST AND JUST WAS NOT EXCITING FOR ME, GOT BORING REAL QUICK...MOM'S REVIEW-MY SON GOT THIS FOR HIS BIRTHDAY, OK HE IS 12, AND HE SAYS THIS IS TOO BABY A GAME FOR HIM TO PLAY BUT HIS YOUNGER COUSINS LOVE IT, IT IS FUN FOR THE YOUNGER KIDS BUT NOT ENOUGH FOR THE OLDER KIDS WHO AS THEY SAY ARE GAMEBOY ADDICTS...ITS A FUN GAME FOR ME TO PLAY BUT FOR THOSE WITH EXPERTISE ON THE GAMEBOY, GET SOMETHING HARDER THAT WILL NOT BORE THEM QUICKLY

My son is 6 and he is a gameboy addict so to say that only older children play gameboy is false. My daughter is 4 and my friend's son is 3 and they too are addicts. SO this game is perfect for them.
