We bought these for my daughter (age 3 1/2, shoe size Toddler 9-10) but had to return them because they were too big and the "arch" part of the shoes would buckle under the weight of her heel being on that part of the shoe when she tried to walk. The plastic feels heavy and sturdy to the touch and I thought they'd be fine and that she could wear them for a long time, until she actually outgrew them. Unfortunately, this was not to be the case. We found some others that have adjustable straps around the back of the heel and a much thicker sole. They aren't quite as dainty-looking, but unless you see the two kinds side-by-side, you'd never think about it and at least she can walk in those without any problem.

These shoes are cute my daughter got them for her 5th b-day but they are big she wears a 10 1/2 and these were made for about a 11/12 shoe or larger my daughter loves them she can not wear them on stairs. I would say 5-6 year olds would fit in them or a 4 year old with larger feet but there still fun around the house. But running in them is not an option unless they really fit. Very fun for little princesses

I just got these shoes for my 2 year old daughter as a freebie for a $25 purchase at Amazon. DD loves the shoes...she likes anything that "makes her a princess." My only complaint is the smell of the shoes. It is awful...it makes the entire room smell a stench that resembles a skunk. The shoes are now kept in the garage when she is not wearing them around the house. I hope they air out with time, but so far, no luck.

I purchased these slippers for my 4-year old daughter to go with her halloween costume. She wears a toddler 9-1/2 shoe. The slippers are too big, but it doesn't stop her from wearing them. She wore them to three Halloween events without a problem. She has also worn them for about an hour almost every day for the last month, and they still look good, even after being outside. Obviously, they are a big hit.

I have not noticed a smell like some of the other reviewers. Hopefully that was just a bad batch!

I recently purchased these for my 4 1/2 year old daughter- she loves them!! We travelled to Florida for Thanksgiving and she wore them the entire time (they were a little big but she did not care). She wore them to the airport, to dinner etc.... We received many comments on how cute they were.

Did not notice any odor at all.

I received these shoes "Free" from a promotional when purchasing other Cinderella items. I wish I had not. These slippers emit such a strong, odorous, skunk-like smell that whatever room they are in stinks like a skunk. Of course my 4 year old daughter likes them and they are sturdy and light up, so whoa is me - I can't get rid of them (yet). No wonder they were free, I would want to get rid of all of them too. I hope the manufacturer will reconsider using that type of plastic in future toys.

My 3 year old daughter LOVES these shoes. Not only do they match the Disney Cinderella dresses perfectly, but she also loves to carry them around on the pillow. What a great idea...

Talk about stink. These are cute, but please find a way to make them smell better. We simply can not abide the awful stench.

I bought these shoes for my 4 yr. old daughter because she really wanted them. When we got home & opened them I could not believe the smell!!!!!!! I too thought the smell would go away but the smell is very strong & I think it would take a long time for that to happen. They are very cute shoes & I want to return them because when I woke up this morning the whole downstairs stunk like those shoes!! My daughter is so upset so now I'm in search of a different Cinderella shoe. I can't believe that they would make a shoe out of this material especially for small children! I wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased them but it was not a "planned" purchase.

I agree with the other mothers who reported these shoes as smelly. My daughter loves them and refuses to give them up but they give me a headache! I don't understand why Disney would make a product for children that is smells so toxic.
