My daughter just received this for her 3rd birthday! OMG it is the first dress she has asked for Everyday to wear!!
LOVE the colors and style! and a HUGE plus for me!! they covered the "itchy" part that some other princess dress have, deterring kids from wanting to wear them!! I am talking about the seem where the skirt meets tht top. We have a cinderella dress where the itchy tulle fabric poking through here bothers my daughter!

Reading other reviews, I too found an ordor, but only a normal new toy\clothing ordor that didnt linger to my knowledge.
And I too thought the shoulders seemed wide. BUT I have a very small daughter. I plan to just stitch a couple of folds along the top velcro for now. Most of her dress up stuff is pretty loose at the top :)!
By far my favorite dress up dress!!

I purchased this outfit for my daughter to wear at her 5th birthday party. We were having an Ariel Princess coming to the house. The outfit smelled horrific and she still hasn't worn it. If it wasn't such a pain to return I would as it was useless as even after leaving it outside in the fresh air it still had a terrible odor. She wore her Jasmine instead.

The outfit is very nice and I was very pleased with the Amazon experience, my kid is so happy!

The outfit comes out of the bags, and has a slight odor. If you air it out you it goes away. Other than that it is wonderful.

No size indicated so this product had to be taken to a seamstress once received (its a 6x and my daughter is a 10)but, with a little extra fabric under the sleeve area -- it was fine. Cute, nice colors -- it was on sale so it was really worth the price.

I THOUGHT IT WOULD LOOK MORE LIKE A MERMAID COSTUME... IT'S OKAY BUT I'VE SEEN BETTER

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it and it is really pretty. The Only thing is that the first time I put it on her and opened the velcro in the back, the netting tore. Each time she wears it, it tears even more. A little high for poor quality.

I purchased this dress for my daughter to wear while we are in Disney World. I did not notice a smell on this product as other reviews indicate. Great velcro on the back of the dress so it can be put on/taken off easily...

I'd say only negative thing is that some of the sparkles from the costume are on my carpet (from her trying it on).

Otherwise this is a great product and I'd recommend!

My daughter loves this dress.. she is 4... we didn't notice an odor... its a great price too!

When we took it out of the box, the smell was abhorrent. Two weeks later, it still smelled pretty bad. It makes me wonder what it was made of. It was also a very large dress. My kids are 2, 3, and 4. Even on my 4 year old it was too big. Next time we'll buy the one we had last year, with the purple halter-top & green skirt with fins. It fit all the girls and didn't have that pesky odor.
