Cute for any Disney princess fan,

We got this for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas and it quickly became one of her favorite books. She loves looking through the pages and at all the pictures of the princesses, their castles, the horses, the dresses and all the other fun things this book has. There are so many things included in this book - paper dresses to dress up Belle, a wheel to look at all the favorite dresses of the princesses, "trading cards" lift the flaps, a poster that is now hanging on my daughter's wall, a princess tiara and lots more! She loves everything about it and will sit for a long time flipping through and looking at this book or playing with the things included. The pages are pretty durable and so far we haven't ripped any (just one of the paper dresses - which was quickly repaired with tape, and this book has gotten a lot of abuse by both my 2 year old and her little brother).
It is geared for older children but if your daughter loves the Disney princesses as much as mine does this would be appropriate for them too. There is just so much to look at! The illustrations are bright and colorful. The book has each of the princess write a scrapbook like page (in their own handwriting) quickly recapping their own story from the movie, and then telling us a little more about their new life as a princess (or married to the prince). Ariel will talk about her loving shoes and dancing, and Cinderella talks about planning her wedding (and even included a wedding scrapbook!) Then the book goes on to each of the princesses describing their homes, the good deeds they do around the kingdom, the dresses, and all the other "fun" things that go along with being a princess. As a former princess lover as a kid, It is fun to share this book with my daughter because it's not the same traditional story from the movie. It is perfect to hare with your little princess!

This book is so much more than a story, its an interactive place where your little princess can discover more about their favorite princesses. There are paper dolls, activities and stickers through out the book. I had fun playing with this book along with my 4 year old. Seeing what the princesses do after the happily ever after is fun for my daughter but she does need my help on things so i dont think i would recommend it for girls much younger than 4. I base that on the fact that its not really a story book per say, so the child needs to be at the right age to enjoy it.

I bought this for my daughter for her 5th birthday, as she loves the Disney princesses. And she loves this book, too. It has lots of neat things inside, such as an invitation to Cinderella's wedding, paper dresses for Belle, stickers, etc. There is even a 2-sided poster included. The book is very intellectually stimulating for her, with lots of colorful pictures, as well. A really good purchase.
