Of the dolls I purchased this was my least favorite although still adorable but the just one kiss dolls dress is awesome. Again like I posted in my other reviews for princess Tiana please people when purchasing check the prices. Some people are upping the price ridiculously makes me so sad! They know people like me are purchasing these dolls because she is the first black Princess. Don't be taken advantage of check local toys stores when the product is actually released in Oct. or find a reputable online merchant like i did that is honest in regards to retail price! Perfect first doll for a little one.

If you are looking to buy this doll, get it at the Disney store! That one is more worth the money! The likeness is better and the dress is beautiful. It looks more like the dress in the movie. Overall, it's a better quality doll.

I understand everyone is excited about a black princess, but this is not the doll that does her justice.

I purchased two (2) of these dolls, one to keep since this is Disney's first African American pricess and one for my 5 year old daughter Tiana. I think this is a very beautiful doll that any little girl will enjoy.

This doll was a giving tree wish for a needy child in my school district. The doll was so beautiful in her sparkly, green princess dress. I could only imagine the little girl opening her on Christmas morning. It made my Christmas very special.

The Disney Store version of this doll is prettier and has a greater likeness to Tiana.

Having 4 daughters and many nieces, I'm just glad there is finally a BLACK princess! I never paid attention to Disney. They are certainly getting my money thsi Christmas. I have found that all of Disneys clothes are kinda of chintzy. But love the doll! Can't wait for Movie!

Look I love amazon.com & will never stop shopping here, but.... ...... Amazon sucks monkey balls. I put the Tiana doll in my shopping cart and went to buy a few more items. I go & check out and lo and behold, my doll is not in the cart. I check back and they tell me the price has gone up! What an effing rip off, they doubled the price. Please noone buy this doll @ twenty five smackers cause it will be cheaper after x-mas ya'll!

It's about time that Disney introduced a new princess movie with a black princess! My daughter is adopted and bi-racial and it's been difficult finding toys/dolls that look like her, instead of me. This doll is cute, she has a sweet face and my daughter ADORES her. We can't wait for the movie to come out on DVD.

If you want the Tiana shown in the first picture (and in English), which in my opinion looks closest to the Disney character, Toys"R"Us is selling it. And you'll have a hard time finding it at one the locations near you, as it's offered mostly as an online exclusive. And you'll have a hard time finding it on the disney site too. (There's not much of anything on Tiana to chose from there.) If you want the one shown in the other four pics, which to me is not bad but kind of looks like someone else, order it here. I chose to purchase the first one, because, again, it looks like the disney character. Thanks for reading.
