4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome - Just what you expect from Disney Princesses!
This is an awesome game! I bought it for my 8 year old daughter, and she loves it. Plus, I love it and play it just as much (or more) than she does. The coolest thing about it is that you can choose between 6 princesses and each has her own game with 3 different chapters in it. So it's like getting 6 games wrapped up in one. Some of the games are very challenging and...

2.0 out of 5 stars May entertain princess lovers.
I bought this game for my 3 year old daughter who has been getting into GBA games lately. There are 6 different Princess games each with different game mechanics. This is good because it will keep the player from growing tired of the same mechanics. However some of the princesses stages are timed with poor level design which just makes for a frustrating situation. The...

This game exceeded all of my expectations and is definitely one of the very few GBA games that is worth the entire [price]!

4.0 out of 5 stars I bought this for my 5 year old daughter, October 2, 2005
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Disney Princess (Video Game)
She got this for christmas of 04. It was challenging for her but fun enough to keep trying. She finally asked for help and so I sat down with her and it was fun. Not hours of fun for adult, but it was fun. she finally finished the game and still plays it alot one of her favorit games.

It is set up so the beginning screen shows all of the princesses. You can be any of them and have to complete 2 or three challenges each. Some are easier than others. After all that is done a last challenge becomes availible.

The only bad thing is you have to use passwords to get back to where you left off. Although it helps with letter recognition.
I bought a folder and we put stickers all over the cover and titled it Passwords. Then on the inside each page is labled with the name of game and she can write the passwords in it with out loosing that much needed info.

Hope all this helped.

5.0 out of 5 stars Varying levels of difficulty, August 25, 2004

This game was my 5 year old daughter's first for her new GBA SP. She was able to play Cinderella right away, and worked her way up to Sleeping beauty and Snow White, completing all the chapters for each. She found the 2nd chapter for Belle easier than the first, simply because she didn't know that Belle could make more snowballs (we figured this out by accident). Ariel and Jasmine are still a bit too complicated for her to get through (I found them difficult the first couple of times), but it is a challenge she looks forward to. I believe this range in difficulty is a plus for the game as any child can begin it and work their way up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for Young Girls unless..., June 12, 2004
This review is from: Disney Princess (Video Game)
This game is really fun; but is more for older girls. They must be able to read unless mom wants to have to help every minute. If your daughter can read and loves the Disney series; then it is highly recommended. One of the definate perks is that you can choose which princess you are as you play. Very cute game.

4.0 out of 5 stars A 5yr Old New Game Boy User, January 6, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Disney Princess (Video Game)
My daughter is 5 and just got a Game Boy. This game is great, but only if know how to read. There are a lot of pop up screens that tell you what to do, but she can't read them. There is a lot of variety to the games. I find myself playing with it more than her, because she gets frustrated over needing me to read the screens.

I bought this game for my five year old and she doesn't want to put it down. The game boy was originally my husbands but he graduated to the PSP. He wanted to give the gameboy to her so we decided to buy this game to see if she could handle it. She surprised us both by how fast she took to it. Her 4 year old sister also likes to play when she gets the chance to. I now have to set a timer to allow for equal playing time for each. Even my four year old loves it and it is not to hard for her.
My husband and I are now considering buying a second game boy to help wih the fighting. Of course having only one princess game will not do either.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Disney Classic, June 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Disney Princess (Video Game)
I'm an adult and I love video games. I chose Disney Princess because I'm an avid Disney fan. This game only took me a few hours to complete but was highly entertaining along the way. The single-player game is somewhat halting, with not a lot of room to move around (fixed paths to move in, you go where they tell you to go) in the game play but for any girls, ages reading level and up, it is fabulous. The colors are vivid and there are many levels with items you have to find while keeping your life up. I recommend this game for any Disney fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW- But sorta hard, November 1, 2004
A Kid's Review
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Disney Princess (Video Game)
Man this is so cool! I don't even HAVE it, my friend brought it when she came for a sleepover and we practically played it all night! It is sorta hard, especially the Jasmine part, and Belle is the easiest, however I like Cinderella. You play as all six of the princesses so it's like 6 games in one.
Game controls (Note these are for Chapter 1, and you can press start to pause and you can open chests by going in front of them and pressing A):
Belle: B to throw snow ball, left and right to move, A to jump, down to make a new snowball.
Cinderella: A to bonk Lucifer on the head, B to clean the floor, Left and right to move.
Ariel: Up down left and right to move, B to blast with the trident.
Aurora: A to turn butterflys into fairies, B to put the guys to sleep, left and right to move.
Snow White: A to jump, B to sing and put the wicked trees to sleep, Left and Right to move.
Jasmine: Up down left and right to move. Go over a switch to activate it.

This is one of the best games I've played in eons! It's finally time that someone created a game with an inspiring storyline, outstanding graphics, and an overall fun experience. I've passed a lot of other games, such as Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda: The Windwaker, every Donkey Kong game ever created, etc, but this one takes the cake. It was challenging, but not too hard. In fact, it took me a few weeks to pass. I laughed, I cried, and I couldn't put it down. In short, I can't tell you just how awesome this game was!
