5.0 out of 5 stars Fun to play with
This doll is fun to play with for my girls, however the dress ripped when the girls (3, 5, 7 ages) tried to put it on. Now her hand always gets stuck on that spot when they try to get her dressed. I have to usually work with them to get past that point. The reason it seems is you have to bend her straight arm to get it into the dress. It is kind of hard.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's ok. That's it, just okay.
This is a really cute sleeping beauty doll. It comes with three tiny faeries from the movie. When you put one on to her hand, the doll lights up. If you put the pink one on, it lights pink, the blue makes blue lights, and the green does pink and blue. Pressing the button on the dolls chest also produces pink and blue lights.

It's not as 'amazing' as it...

It's not as 'amazing' as it first looks to be. Her dress doesn't change color as it says, there are just colored lights underneath, so it's only where the lights are that you really see the dress a different color.

The dolls right arm is fixed with a 90 degree angle at the elbow...you cannot straighten it out, so the picture is quite misleading. That's the hand that you must put the faerie on.

The fairies are quite difficult for a little one to get to work. The slip over her hand, and the contact points on the faerie and the doll itself must match up for it to light up. In order for them to match up, you really have to push the faerie onto the dolls hand to get it far enough to reach the contacts. My daughter, at almost 6, can get them on, but a younger child may not be able to.

In all, it's a cute doll, but it's a little misleading, and a little difficult to use for the little ones.

3.0 out of 5 stars Something a little different for Princess fans, January 11, 2009

I don't have much good or bad to say about this toy. If you have a Disney Princess fan, she would mostly likely enjoy this toy. My daughter is 4 and likes this doll. [...] It's cute in that it offers a little something different than a regular barbie. You place each of the 3 fairies on the palm of Aurora's hand and you hear magic wand music and Aurora's dress changes a different color depending on which fairy you use. There is a button on her necklace that projects the same effect. I guess I'm a bit of a nerd but I had more fun showing my daughter Aurora's legs where the some of the lights are and explaining to her how it works.

The doll is supposed to change lights, but that's about all it does. The light functioning stopped working almost immediately. Not a good product.

Our little Princess is crazy about this doll! She is 3 and has about 30 Barbies and this is her favorite doll of all. It lights up when a fairy godmother is put in her hand.. she is so beautiful. I also suggest you buy the horse that goes with this doll. The combo is the perfect gift for any little girl...do yourself a favor and buy this one!!

It is everything you would expect from this toy. My 3 year old didn't understand why the green fairy didn't make her dress turn green though. And it took us quite a while to remove it from the box. Just make sure you always know where the fairies are because they are small!

My daughter has enjoyed this doll, but the fairies are very easy to lose (we have found out). It goes will with the "magic" horse and together have been lots of fun for my daughter and her friends.

I bought this Sleeping Beauty doll for my niece, knowing only that she's now around 3-4 years old and that she has suddenly discovered an adoration for the "princess."

I had no idea that the doll lit up or that the dress changed color depending on which fairy sat on her hand--what a treat! My niece LOVED it. Out of the three kids at our Christmas Day unwrapping, she was the one enamored most with a toy and this is the toy.

This toy didn't really live up to what I thought. When you press her hand with one of the little fairies in her hand her dress lights up for only a moment. It kept my 4year old granddaughters attention for that long. She returns to it off and on. That is the reason for rating a 3.
