4.0 out of 5 stars Fun for little girls, October 13, 2005
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Disney Princess Precious Mini Cinderella Playset (Toy)
I purchased this for my three year old daughter. She loved the set and the box converts to a very nice "room" for the doll. After a month of course the box has been smashed. The shoes are small and most have been lost, but what I really liked is the clothes are easier to get on than many of the other dolls like this such a Polly Pockets. The shirts and skirts are detached and the back of the shirt is completely open for easy dressing. Also, the skirts are fabric and not rubber making them a little easier to dress. My daughter is willing to play by herself or loves to have a friend over to play with her.

This set is so cute, so true to the movie character outfits, etc. The box can be used as Cinderella's room. You close it up with the velcro flap and it even has a handle. It's a cardboard box though, and has to be handled with care. But I always feel these companies never fully test these products before they put them on the market. Both sets of shoes do not stay on, ever. They sort of dangle. Her two wigs do not sit perfectly on her head either, they are constantly falling off. The dressing stand is a bit clumsy. But... I guess these are the things I noticed. My daughter hasn't been bothered by much, only the shoes. The canopy bed is great though, it's her favorite part of the set.

For the price, I guess you're getting what you pay for. I hope they do improve the way the shoes stay on, but for now, we will still continue to buy the Disney Princess mini playsets anyway. The precious years our little ones are into this phase are so limited, I guess I'll take the shoes that don't fit and will be lost in a few days. We're making memories playing with the set together, and that is all that matters.

I got this for my toddler and she loves it! She plays with it for long periods of time, which is unusual for a toddler. Thanks for the fun!

This review is from: Disney Princess Precious Mini Cinderella Playset (Toy)
My little brother Samuel and I (Katie)went out shopping with 50 birthday money each. As we went into the toy shop, we spotted a Disney Princess Precious Mini Cinderella Playset because it was on a sale for only 5! So we both got a set, and when we got home, we took out our very precious little boxes under our beds which contain our pet worms. We had caught them in the garden to be our pets and gave them a home in a shoe-box. We decorated our shoe-boxes and filled them with sticks, leaves and pebbles.

We covered the playset furniture in more sticks, leaves and pebbles and let our worms play on them. My worm is called Bubbles and Samuel's one is called Snuggles. The only thing is, they died next day because worms don't live that long. So we have just brought in some caterpillars. May Snuggles and Bubbles R.I.P. Bye! (Oh, by the way, my caterpillar is Snoofle and Samuel's is called Snuffles. They are sharing this playset again)
