Santa brought these walkie talkies for my daughters and we've just recently gotten around to playing with them. They are awful. They do not work unless my girls are standing right next to each other. We also tried changing the batteries and there was no improvement. Total rip off.

These are useless. Do NOT buy these walkie talkies! The package states a working distance of 25 - 30 feet, but I think that they missed a decimal point on the package - we could NOT get these to work beyond about 3 feet! Three miserable feet!!! Tried new batteries, different battery brand. There are NO frequency or channel settings, so that was not the issue. Avoid these like the plague unless you want a very dissapointed little girl. :(
