Disney Princess Shimmer Doll Collection

My daughter received these dolls as a present last night. In less than 24 hours, two of the dresses have already torn apart (both Belle and Cinderella). Snow White's crown has snapped in half. My daughter knows how to play with this type of doll and can easily dress and undress other dolls of this type by herself. The overall quality of this product is very, very low. While I don't expect toys to last forever, I would expect that a doll's clothing meant for children to play with be durable enough to last through more than one change of costume. This is not worth the money - spend your drachmas at the Disney Store for their princess dolls instead. We've never encountered any quality issues there.

Shipping was very fast. Box was much bigger than item, so item was bounced around a lot and was pretty beaten up. Some of the dolls were flipped around and shoes had popped off. I had to open the box and try to pop it into shape and straighten the dolls before wrapping. The dolls aren't very good quality; they don't move easily and are rather stiff. But my niece loves the dolls, and was so excited to get so many in a big box. For the price, I would buy them again.

We ordered these dolls as a last minute Christmas present for my four year old daughter from her Gramdma. I belong to Amazon moms so I was able to get free 2 day shipping so we could have them by Christmas. When we received the package I was pretty impressed. It was huge & the dolls looked great. However the set pictured had Princess Aurora in it which is my daughter's favorite. The set I received was minus Princess Aurora & had Rapunzel instead. So be aware what you get may not be what is pictured. It wasn't a huge deal that we didn't get Aurora. It just meant an extra trip to the store to buy an Aurora doll too. My daughter & 18 month old son have played with the dolls everyday since Christmas. They seem to be holding up well. I recommend this product if you have a princess lover in your household.

It is not only that the dolls looked so cheap at Target but on the top of it
the boxes were so busted because they are cheap and flimsy and can't even hold them
by handle without it getting out of the appropriate mounts.

The dolls are cheap, the dresses are tacky, the faces are ugly.
I would not buy it to a charity event let alone for my own child.
I saw some dolls already had dresses that had running therads so how safe is that.

It does not compare to the real Disney 10 Doll set from the Disney store.
How could it? It is not even Disney product. There is huge difference
between being Disney licensed and Disney Store item exclusively.

This item is Mattel's prduct on Disney license therefore it ha a right
to carry a Disney logo on it but you won't find on it the Disney Store sign
that is reserved for Disney distributed items only.

NOt the quality not the look nothing.

Not worth your frustration and dissapointment.

If you are paying 7 dollars for a Princess and you think you are getting a quality product
think again. You get what you pay for. You can get Disney Store set here on Amazon
for 179 and it is still only 18 bucks a pop. If this is not a great deal for
doll that will last a lifetime and has a quality you expect for your own child
then I don't know what is.

I would never buy it for my child even if you pay me.

I won't say anything but my daugther (4) got these for Christmas almost a year ago and still plays with them everyday. Good deal for the price with how many barbies you get.

My daughter received this for her birthday and it is the perfect collection! The dolls are beautiful! She loves it!

I think this was a great idea for the whole disney collection. My niece loves the different characters because she is a fan of all of the princesses.I was amazed when I saw the new princess and the frog doll included, it helped me make the purchase as well. I do not allow her to play with the dolls because I feel they are collectibles. I gave her the Tiana doll seperate to play with so she would not have to open the collection to get to it. I think all of the dolls are beautiful and many were my favorite growing up, especially Cinderella and Ariel. I hope that many girls get this gift set because it is very much worth the value. Parents just don't let them open them!
