I got this for my daughter for an early Christmas present (my husband is leaving early for deployment). With in minutes of using it the legs became stuck. We can't get it to come out of this funk. My husband is on the phone right now with the company and they are going to send us a voucher for a new one. My daughter is really excited about this toy, and I hope the next one works better. Customer Service seems to be very helpful. Hopefully they can redeem themselves and the second one will work. But so far I am not pleased with this toy at all. My daughter is devastated.

Very cute horse, but it broke out of the box. It was walking in test mode laying on it's side, but when I took it out and stood it up to walk the first time it fell and starting making a horible clicking noise (like the back leg was jammed). I called Mattel this morning 1-800-534-8697 and they are mailing a voucher. They were very nice.

Bought this for my 4 year old. Great present, she loved it. However, within 4 hours, the dreaded grinding noise the other reviewers mentioned happened. Back legs locked up, no more walking. Returning it tomorrow much to my 4 year olds sadness.....

i bought this for my daughter for her birthday. within minutes of being out of the box and picked up, the legs became stuck and will not move. there is a clicking sound now that obviously indicates a problem. the horse won't even stand up. very disappointed. my daughter wasn't even being rough, just simply picked it up from the table, and put it back down to turn it on again. pretty expensive for a horse that can't even stand up now.

Great toy for the $$.... big bang for your buck! Plus my 4 year old granddaughter loves it! She wanted the horse with the wings but when we read the reviews they said the wings broke in just days after purchase so we opted for this horse and so glad we did. It's still trotting around no problem. You may want to see if the sleeping beauty barbie rides on the horse... we found that the Mariposa barbie doesn't. Oh to have had toys like this as a child... it is truly a "magical walking horse".

I bought this on Amazon for Christmas this year 2008 for my 5-year old daughter. What a cute horse. Not only is it girly and fit for a princess but it actually walks. You have a wand that you control to get it to do things. My daughter loves to pretend that she magically makes it move. So great and so far really durable.

We couldn't get the pony to respond to the wand at all so we went online in search of help. We missed the switch on the pony's tummy and, once we found it, everything worked as advertised.

We are the proud grandparents of a 20 month old. We have 6 horses that she gets to ride when she comes to our house. She loves horses but lives in the big city of St. Louis, so having a play horse for her Barbie is just grand. It is her favorite toy to show all guests that come for visits, even the mailman.

My 3 y.o. daughter got the Sleeping beauty Barbie Doll and walking horse for Christmas. It never walked for us. The first time we pushed the button it took one step fell on its head and started making this horrible clicking noise like something was stuck. I tried replacing the batteries and that did nothing. The horse will still nod its head and the tail twirls if the switch is in that position but when the switch is in the walk position it just clicks now. The wand doesn't work either. I called Mattel at 1800-524-8697. They are emailing me a label to send the product back to them and they will send a voucher. I recommend buying a non-walking horse which what I will be replacing this one with.

My three year old daughter loves her Princess Horse. I wish that I had one when I was younger. Her princess dolls really sit and ride. It's a great gift.
