We gave this doll to our daughter for her third birthday and we weren't very impressed with it. (neither was she to be honest) The doll doesn't stand very well on its own (due to the frog plush underneath) and the frog itself is not very cute (and kind of oddly shaped--not quite full enough in the face when turned into a frog). In addition, our daughter really didn't like the combo deal and kept trying to take the 2 apart to find the princesses legs (of which there are NOT any). All in all I would say you are better off buying just the regular Tiana doll (and saving yourself the additional $15!) We are planning on exchanging ours at the store today.

The concept for this was interesting - you can turn the dress up and hide the torso so that she turns into a frog. It should have given you the best of both worlds - both a doll and a stuffed animal for added play value.

The problem is that the frog mode has pointy hard plastic arms and body inside that make it a lumpy looking stuffed animal missing half its stuff. The girl version doesn't do anything - the skirt is soft and there are no legs to keep the shape of the dress. So she just flops over. It ends up feeling like there is only half a doll there or a really sad sack stuffed frog.

My 7 year old can't get the head into the frog velcro area very easily so she's given up trying to transform from girl to frog. The velcro catches on Tiana's hair and wrecks it, unfortunately.

It just sits in the closet right now because it isn't a doll, it isn't a stuffed animal, it doesn't transform easily, and it isn't even that attractive as frog or doll.

This was a disappointment.

This doll is BEAUTIFUL! I purchased this for a friend's 6 year old niece & she just loves it. The doll is cute as the princess as well as the frog. The transformation is a great idea & I am so glad I discovered this doll. The niece shows her doll then immediately shows the transformation into the frog. It is so easy she has no problem! A GREAT GIFT!!!

I got this for my little sister for Christ-mas. I know I will have to wait a long time for Christ-mas but it will be worth it. Well, just so you know, me and my sister are best buddies. So I find it brand-spanking new at a Goodwill! But it was marked, get this, 3.00!!!!!! I knew my little buddy would love it! Cn not wait to see her face! Oh, the price here is very good because I saw the sticker say that it was 25.00.
