Bought this for our girls, 2 and 4. Huge hit, even before the batteries were put in the blow dryer. This set is great for several reasons, and I'll try to list the top few. First, the dryer actually has a little fan in it that whirrs loudly enough to seem real, but not so loud as to disturb the cat when she is getting her fur done. (uncommon for a kid's toy) Also, the nail polish and eyeshadow are both made to open and "use", but no mess. And once you have removed the inner packing materials, the bag is large enough for headband and tiara storage. A must for today's Princess. The one thing I will caution you about is the curling iron. If your child has longer hair like my girls do, it can get tangled when hair is being "curled". Fortunately, the curler has no moving parts, so tangles are discovered long before any permanent damage is done. All in all, a pretty sturdy little set for $15. Great for practice make-overs and such, but probably not for experienced princesses, as there is no actual make-up involved, just imagination. Perfect for my house! No glittery door handles or perfumed pets!

I bought this as a birthday gift for a five year old little girl in my daycare and it is the perfect gift! She brings it to daycare and all the little girls get their hair done! The price was very reasonable and shipping was fast. I would highly recommend this toy.

My daughter absolutely loves the accessories. She uses them with her vanity set. The blow dryer is her favorite since it actually turns on & runs. It doesn't really blow any air, but it makes a little more realistic to her when she's playing pretend.

My daughter loves to dress up and do everybody's hair. She got this set for her 4th birthday and she absolutely loves it. It was definately worth the money.

The vanity I ordered was very nice....easy to put together, I'm sure my granddaughter will love it. But the way it was shipped was disappointing..........It was not shipped in a large brown box; it looked like I just took it off the shelf of a toy store and a handle and label were attached.

My concern was that if it had rained and we were not home; the package would have been soaked as I do not have a covered front porch. (This was to be a gift.) Luckily, we were home at the time of deliver.

Please forward this to the people who ship out the packages. It should have been placed in a box.

This toy was greeted with gleeful screams when my daughter saw it. She loved to pretend to cut or style my hair and has also creatively used the various pieces for other pretend things. The scissors are one of the favorites....as is the hair dryer. The fact that it makes noise & can be turned on/off is really fun for the kids.

It's just what my daughter wanted and has a good variety of styling tools. However, I found a similar product for about 1/3 of the price the next day at the Disney Store. Great toy set, but not the best price.

My daughter has been thrilled with the addition of these items to her collection. She plays and plays for hours with them. Love them, would recommend to anyone with a small little girl.

My 3 1/2 year old LOVES this toy! She really likes to play beauty school, and this toy provides many tools for her to use. I especially like the non-cutting, but very realistic, scissors. And the "working" hair dryer is fun for her, too. She believes she's really drying her hair. This is a must-have for every little girl who likes to play beauty school.

This is an adorable vanity set, perfect for girls in the Disney Princess phase. My 3-year old especially loves the real-sounding hair dryer. We just have to be careful with the round brush because it can easily get tangled in hair.
