Dress the Kitchen Up with Images and Labels

Decorate your kitchen with stickers and cardboard cutouts of princesses, foods, background tiles, and more. The cardboard pieces go inside cupboards and behind windows so your child can enjoy them while cooking in the kitchen. The stickers include real recipes, such as Belle's cupcakes, Ariel's ice cream sundae, and Snow White's gooseberry pie.

Talk on the Telephone with a Princesses

Your child can pick up the set's green phone and chat with Disney princess friends whenever the mood strikes. The unattached phone rests in a small holder next to the sink until it's time for a phone call with Cinderella. At the press of the heart or crown button, the phone will play phrases spoken by classic Disney princesses.

Realistic Kitchen Sounds for Interactive Fun

The kitchen set itself also produces sounds during play. Turn one knob to hear the stove emit a sizzle sound, and turn another to produce the sound of water boiling. The center knob dings when turned. In addition, the recipe book sings a song for each of the three recipes, including such classics as "Be Our Guest" and "Under the Sea."

Plenty of Accessories for Hours of Play

The kitchen set comes with 15 accessories, including kitchen supplies like a spatula, frying pan, and the Mrs. Potts teapot, and other accessories like a Flounder squirt toy. Your child will have hours of fun hosting tea parties or cooking up royal banquets with all the included dishware.

The singing kitchen table top requires two AA batteries, and the talking cell phone requires two AAA batteries (no batteries included).

I ordered this kitchen for my 3 year-old daughter for Christmas. She must have seen a commercial for it because she would not stop talking about it and even walked right up to Santa and asked for it and kept telling anyone who asked that she wanted a "pink princess kitchen with a phone" for Christmas. My husband and I set it up last night and it's complete junk. It is not the kind of quality you imagine when you pay that price. Luckily I did not pay full price or I would be even more upset. But the retail price on this should be about $29 and I paid significantly more than that. It is nothing like other kitchens on the market (of comparable price) that are durable and a child can enjoy for years. It is very light weight plastic and seems like it will tip over. The background scenes are made of flimsy poster board that is very loosely attached to the kitchen. I have a 1.5 year old son that is no doubt going to rip the poster board off and destroy it within one week. I can't believe Disney puts its name on something like this: I would guess that a "free" Happy Meal toy is higher quality.

Purchased this item as my 2 year old talked about it every time she seen it on TV. Now she has a great Step 2 kitchen, but this year was all about the Princess. Well thought we got lucky and got a good deal from amazon. We were so wrong, my daughter got this from Santa on the 25th an by the 27th all the cardboard backs had fallen off. She also left a door open and tripped cracking the frig door down the middle. I would have expected a piece of plastic could have handled a 27 lbs toddler. All in all Disney did just what they set out to do. Make a bright an colorful kitchen, add the princess theme, run relentless commercials, then charge an outrages price.Unfortunately this was my daughters Big gift this year. I learned a valuable lesson for Christmas's to come, open and check the quality, before Christmas Eve when all the stores are closed and now you are forced to set up a worthless, over priced, flimsy piece of JUNK..

I bought this Disney Princess Ultimate Fairytale Kitchen for my two and a half year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves this set! Her favorite colors are pink and purple and loves all the princesses and playing pretend. It was perfect for her.

Pros: Very girly! Multiple princesses on it. Super easy to assemble (Basically snap together 95% of it, slide in cardboard backdrops and apply stickers. Sound features are at a good volume, The cell phone is all that requires batteries, It comes with dishes (plenty for a 2 year old), 3 songs from the cookbook (I hate to hear the same thing all the time) and it will shut off as soon as you try the oven timer, tea pot bubbling or frying dials, the phone is only audible when held up to the ear.

Neutral: (you decide) Its super lightweight and sometimes the faucet falls off when bumped. It's not for kids that like to climb, and has lots of stickers - Stickers Included- On the cookbook (4) Belle pic and recipe, Snow White pic and recipe, Ariel pic and song. Large Tiana on the oven and the little vent above her head, Large Belle on the cupboard and "you're invited" above her head. Last is cut up apples on the counter. (I didn't mind applying them)

Cons: #1 it's OVERPRICED, It's not durable and the cardboard backdrops do not attach securely. The backdrops slide in, but the tabs that are supposed to keep them in their place do not account for kids that will touch the cutouts. I have to keep putting them back where they go. I will have to tape them to keep them in place permanently. This may not be an issue for everyone, but my daughter is curious and loves to touch them, especially the window.

You would think Disney would produce a quality toy... Well, think again! My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter saw this kitchen in a toy circular and decided it was what she wanted for Christmas. It was a bit pricey ($145) but I didn't hesitate to buy it because it was from Disney and I try to buy her what she likes.

When my husband went to put the kitchen together (he holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering) he almost had a heart attack! The plastic was flimsy and the pieces did not fit well together at all. The inserts were all made of paper and did not stay in the tiny slots made to hold the cardboard cutouts. My granddaughter is not allowed to play rough with her toys but if this kitchen lasts 6 months it will be a miracle!!!!

The dishes were cheap. I had to buy another set of dishes for her to use with the kitchen. To my dismay the refrigerator and oven are so incredibly small that NO dishes or pans fit in them.

The one thing my granddaughter does like about the kitchen is the telephone. But at $145 it is one expensive telephone!

I highly recommend you do NOT buy this kitchen. It is probably the LAST Disney toy I will buy.

I have since purchased her a Step Two kitchen for her birthday in March that I hope is better!

There was already a kitchen set for my little one at home, and was working just fine. I wanted a pink one to match with her pink chair & table set, so I got this. So, if your purpose is to "match up", this one works. Otherwise, as a functional unit (even from a 2-year old's standpoint), it isn't as fun as others in the market. In other words, there aren't enough things to do on this kitchen set (baking unit and fridge unit - a joke, and there's no microwave). I even spent more on this purchase than I did on the other kitchen set from last year. I sort of regret the purchase, but every time I see the matching "pink" in my little one's room, I tell myself that it is worth it.
