Much better than the cheaper plastic ones, while head and foot boards are made of laminated pressed wood, are solid and heavy. I think what often happens is during shipping, the fancy metal "hinge" for lack of a better word, that connects head and foot boards to the side boards get bent inwards (from boxes being stacked, etc.). Had to use pliers to pry them out a little bit. Other than that, and one slat beam hole misdrilled, fit perfectly. Very sturdy and not rickety at all as other reviewer noted. Was impressed at number of slats included (8) and everything is screwed (not nailed) for durability.

Only thing I could think that would make it better would be if it had drawers underneath. Then, it would be a lot more expensive and complicated to put together I guess. Would buy again without hesitation. Good price on Amazon considering free shipping.

I bought this bed for my 3 year old granddaughter to sleep in at "YiaYia's" house because she told me she needed a "proper princess bed".

This bed was EASY to put together, and while not an indestructable piece, it is sturdy enough for a 3 year old. It is mad of some kind of pressed board, but the connector seem to be pretty well thought out, and it isn't rickety. The pictures are adorable and the sides make her feel cozy. Great bed!!!

This is a beautiful bed, very sturdy and easy to put together. I haven't found any of the problems others have mentioned regarding potential injuries. It doesn't seem sharp at all and my daughter hasn't had any problems either sleeping in it or getting in and out of it. It is holding up well to being jumped on by two toddlers on a daily basis and definitely is much sturdier that some of the plastic versions we considered. I am very happy with this purchase and my daughter absolutely loves it!

its exactly as shown on pictures. easy to assembly. really fast shipment (to Poland Europe) - few days only. everything is correct - as i expect. i strongly recommend this bed and this supplier.

It's sturdy and cute. My girls love their princess beds. It took my husband 1 hour to assemble each bed, using his own tools. We are buying the third one now.

I'm concerned. This bed gave my daughter a cut on her eye with a faint black eye first night we used it, in her birthday! Caked the company and find it hard to believe after reading these reviews no other parent called! This bed needs to be bumpered off on the sides! It's very sharp! It's very cure very durable! Kids are kids and will move around so please put pillows all around your childs head and face!

Beautiful! And easy to assemble! It's true. Nice colors and good quality for the price. Nice princess pictures too. Although it's not that long if your toddler is tall.

We got this bed for our 2 yr old as a reward for potty training success and it was a great hit. It is well made, beautiful and just the perfect addition to her princess room. I see it lasting for years & we felt a much better bargain than the plastic toddler beds. I read other reviews w/comments on it being dangerous with sharp edges but have not had any issues with this & my daughter is a very active toddler. Overall I think this is a great buy and a much better bargain on this site than several others selling the same item.

Im so glad I decided to get this bed. It is so much more secure and safe than those cheap half plastic and half metal ones. I was afraid at first if the railing would go down far enough to catch my 19 month old from falling out of the bed, it is more than enough long. right now it pretty much catches her whole body cause of her being so small. The bed looks beautiful every friend of mine that sees it wants one for their girls or wish they would have found this bed for their kid. Husband said it was easy to put together. And again i stress this is very secure my daughter has figured out jumping on the bed and its hold up (i wouldn't recommend doing it all the time but it does hold up) and I feel confident she won't fall out of the bed during the night. The bed isn't to far off the ground either, my 19 month old has no problem going up and down all by herself.

We purchased this bed for our 2 1/2 year old and LOVE it. Bed is sturdy as we looked at the plastic beds and they just did not look sturdy to me. I am not sure what sharp edges one reviewer was talking about...my daughter has no injury's from the bed and was easy to put together.
